Blocking TV update servers on my Asus router

Yes just tested it on my router, http is blocked but not https. So then I thought about editing the DNS lookup for su.lge.com & snu.lge.com For me this might be the solution https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/Custom-domains-with-dnsmasq But that's because I run the Merlin custom...

    Superhub + WRT54GL Question

You could try and put the superhub into modem only mode and make GL1 the router. Then hang your devices from that? Although I found that my old WRT54GL could not max out my 60meg connection when it was set-up like this.

Native (untranscoded) MKV network playback on TV

One thing to note is that almost all of the players built into the TV play the video back at 60hz. This may not be a problem for you, some people prefer their content to be played back at the videos native rate (usually 24hz) to try and avoid judder, most of the time I'm not that fussy...

    VNC to Windows 7 Issue!!

No problems with VNC'ing on to a Windows 7 x64 here. A few tips though, make sure UAC is enabled for some reason it likes this.
