One thing to watch out with second hand versions is the Office 365 licence - with many second hand ones this has already been used, which reduces the value somewhat (seeing as it's £60 full price, and even Ebay licences for the personal edition can easily be £25-35). I guess it's also worth...
If it's not too late, then metachi posted a trick earlier in this thread which should be a better solution for you - get a 2.5mm to USB cable...

Mine had a similar issue. I eventually worked out that it was absolutely fine if I disabled wifi - apparently it's happened to other people too. Try disabling it and see if that helps.
I solved it properly by taking out the Airport card (easily accessible via the battery bay on my 12" 1.33GHz...
A great system.
Metal Gear Solid
Gran Turismo
Final Fantasy 7 and 9
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2
Wipeout 2097/3
Castlevania: SOTN
ISS: Pro Evo
Dodonpachi
All of the above, bar ISS/GT (where you are better off with their latest versions), are still worth playing today.
I'll mention Vib Ribbon as...
I'd stick with OEM.
But it says here that the battery is designed to be at 80% capacity after 300 cycles. You are way below that. Maybe worth seeing if they'll fix it for free? Sale of Goods Act may come in handy - three years isn't an unreasonable amount of time to expect your battery to last...
What ISP are you on? Could be a DNS issue or something their side. Can't say I've experienced any issues here (on Talk Talk broadband), and the Apple site was my home page for a while over the last few days (due to getting a new computer).
Having the same issue - feels like the standard settings come out a bit larger than strictly necessary.
I was using the Normal preset earlier as standard, but I'm currently trying the High Profile preset, with the AC3 passthrough audio disabled (leaving just one audio track). Seems so far...
Nothing's been announced/rumoured as far as I'm aware, so it could be any time. I'd have thought there'd be some kind of a speed bump sooner than the end of the year, to introduce i5/i7s lower in the range, but it's anyone's guess.
You can physically upgrade directly from 10.4 to 10.6 using that disc, but you won't be properly licensed unless you also own a license for 10.5 for that machine.
I haven't tried Reeder, but I'd recommend Byline. Version 2.5 was doing me fine, and I was initially skeptical about some of the changes in 3.0, but I've come round to finding it an improvement now.
Those files are useful/required, so I would just leave those files on your MacBook as they are. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.DS_Store for an overview. If you want to get rid of then from an external drive, then there are utilities/scripts that will do it. And you can change a parameter to...
Yes, you'll have to pay that tax when buying in store. And in theory you will also need to pay import duties/VAT when you bring it back into the UK. Though it's not exactly something that Customs will notice weighing you down as you go through the "Nothing to declare" section.
This is beautifully ambiguous on the topic:
Similarly, the iPad warranty says this:
No wonder you are getting mixed messages. Sounds like one of those that may depend on who exactly you talk to, and how they are feeling, when you run into issues...
