第一次感動~U2442N(開箱) - Mobile01
Have a look at that link for lots of pictures of the Gigabyte laptop. Not sure how he managed to get his hands on one... (use google translate and then you have to click on all the links where it says 'picture' to load all the images)

Gigabyte U2442N
Spec seems almost perfect, although Gigabyte are hardly renowned as a Laptop manufacturer...
I also have been looking into the new Sony Vaio Z laptop. You can put together a great spec with it:
Ivy Bridge i7 QUAD-Core (full mobile processor, not low power), 1080p screen, 8gb RAM, 128gb x 2 SSD in raid. However the price is very very high, coming in at around £1800. It is also not...

As for my wanted...
I think I have finally come to a decision after some great advice on here. My needs have changed somewhat and my budget has gone up as a result...
Needs:
Media playback and general PC browsing.
DVD encoding and possibly BluRay playback/encoding in the future.
Software development, web...
MBA is far too expensive for what you get imo, especially when I would have to go and buy Windows 7 to go along with it.
Hopefully an Ultrabook appears in the next 3 months that ticks most of my boxes from above.
