    Beko washer dryer over heating

Ended up braking the machine... Decided it was out of warranty and had no reason to believe it wouldn't overheat again even if we could open the door... So, yeah, new washer and dryer time (we have space to go separate) Any dryers that are plumbed into water waste?

    Beko washer dryer over heating

Think that's what we may end up doing. Seems an electrical fault has development with the control board, currently can't get the door open!

    Beko washer dryer over heating

It's 5years, if not 6. Seems around the age there's a pcb issue, so could maybe try a replacement, but truthfully lost some faith with it.

    Beko washer dryer over heating

When I have no idea where else to turn turn to the ole faithful... As far as I know the machine isn't the one of the recalls from 10years a go. Put on a load of washing this morning (wash only) and it tripped the MCB, checked again an hour later and the utility room was like a steam room...

    Virgin media, outlook and passwords

Set up my new phone and it didn't quite copy everything over, not sure if outlook app is something that does anyway. I use outlook at access a blueyonder email, tried to log on and realised I had no idea what the password is. Couldn't find a method that worked to view it on laptop so logged into...

    emails+domain hosting woes

Looking for some advice and help. I have a domain that I use just for emails, no website. It's set up to forward to a googlemail address and I use gmail to send and receive. The issue is, probably more to do with the host, is I often don't get emails or if an attachment is too big I don't...

Dishwasher has finally died. Spec me a new one..

Can't fault our hisense unit. 16 places, cutlery tray, pops open when done for air drying. Projects a led when it's running and various modes that can be adjusted. Was cheap as well but I think as a brand they're starting to creep up in price.

Gutter hooks for thick, old gutters

Well it's that time of year for adorning lights everywhere. Tried a couple of different style of gutter hooks already and it seems due to the shape/thickness of our gutters they don't fit, old 1930s property. Anybody able to suggest anything. There's no gap for cable ties and not sure if the...

    My hair transplant journey

Bit of a thread bump but any recommendations for shampoo? I've been out of the one I was using for a while, and that was different to the one before. Hair loss is receding hair line and some thinning on top of that helps.

    WBAC Values

I thought cazoo didn't buy cars with finance left? How did you get around this? I'm looking to shift my car on pcp. I think valuations are slowing down/starting to lower slightly. I've not had any big changes in a while and a couple of dips with some companies.

how smart has your home gone?

Cheers, we have multizone so looks like we won't be able to. Even some cheap thermometers I can plonk around the place that will record and log?

how smart has your home gone?

Is there an out door thermometer that links with hive? Or even a third party software that will graph the outdoor temp Vs the indoor. Just curious how house inside may drop compared to outside, delays, sudden decreases etc

    BMW and M Power Owners

Sorry, typo f11 is what I meant. 5 series. If I have to go estate I want to go big!... Gearbox is probably my biggest gripe with the XE. I think I used to get only 24-26MPG when living at my old house city driving only to work, if it wasn't that in the XE it as in my 2.0T Scirocco. But that was...

    BMW and M Power Owners

Looking into getting an early higher milage f31 and cashing in and selling my 66 XE 25T Rsport. Need something practical and better MPG. I can get 38-40 on way to work and same route home 36-38. That's country roads, motorway then city on way to work. Looking at some figures online this may rule...

    Amtico, Karndean etc?

bit of a thread hijack, but any reconmendations for LVF for an older house? So floor boards underneath, also looking for a range that would offer a herringbone or parquet style but then also have matching traditional planks in colour.

Are you doing anything with Hue?

Had an other play with the two lights and sensors. Sensor closest to the house controls the two easily. Sensor furthest away at point where it would live was a bit iffy, but at that point it's furthest away ZigBee thing from an other ZigBee thing. Real install there will be other lights in the...

Aimed at me? No idea, only have one anyway and a bridge would have to live outdoors.
