So what was it? It literally states performance increases in the notes

0 fps differences for me on this patch. I'm at a very specific place and get 50fps. With the new patch I get... 50 fps! Amazing.

One thing that makes no sense, why not just take the laptop? We don't have enough information to help you, you don't have enough information to help you. They can't bypass security if they don't have the laptop.

The worst part is it's a pain in the ass to properly remove, make this your #1 setting to disable when doing anything in the BIOS, as it's on by default :)

It absolutely does, make sure you turn it off in the bios if you don't want it. Also, surely AMD/board manufacturers cannot retroactively enforce these new 'rules' for people with existing products? Obviously it'd be a legal battle, but I don't see how that would stand up.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU Burns Up

I would just buy per I'd personally run the EXPO profile (assuming your ram has it), and just manually set SOC. Alternatively if you set everything to do with your ram manually then you don't need to change any voltages (aside from DDR).

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (fallen order sequel)

18 hours in and still enjoying it so far tbh, I didn't see any performance increases with the patch but then I'm running with RTX on so that's probably why - ironically in fact I went into a cutscene and my FPS halved to around 30, any lower and it may as well have just been a 24fps film lol.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU Burns Up

What a mess, and impressively so. Ironically said it was a mess earlier on and people were very quick to defend AMD - how do you feel about it now? xD The fact that ASUS have rushed out so many BIOS versions too is making me pause on upgrading my own purely because I have to question how tested...

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (fallen order sequel)

I forgot to add before actually but my only genuine gripe (apart from low framerates/dips) - knowing where to go! I feel like it's a pretty bad UI for working out what to do/where to go. I've got used to it now so I understand it a lot more, but it's not really clear, a few times I've gone the...

Because it'll get taken down by Google. The same reason Vanced was shut down, it has to be this way if it is to continue.

I'm enjoying it tbh. Not sure how long the game is but based on my complete % for the first 3 areas, I'd say it's gonna be huge.. 10 hours in so far.

Depends on the motherboard, mine was not set to 1.45v and I have an ASUS board. As above, it is not just ASUS boards and is a problem across the main AMD spec.

I had 19.8Gb of the 3090's VRAM utilised earlier after about 2-3 hours in, it likes to cache it up that's for sure lol - I noticed a bit of texture popping which is why I checked, I guess it was swapping it out

FPS drops pretty massively as you get into the 'RPG' side of things, I've had drops down to 20's and 30's, pretty hilarious :D

About 10mins because I'm impatient  I figure with a new windows install and nothing really to go wrong if it crashes it's probably PBO, and if it does happen I'll lower the offset. No crashes so far and have hours in BF2042 and Star Wars :) Yeah you have to make sure you enable it, and...

Yep, but for reference I'm running -25 so you can probably start at -20 and go from there (or maybe even -25) and save yourself some work. I just set it and it didn't crash, so I'll forget it, I can't imagine I can run -30 anyway :D (all cores)
