My BT contract is up in August so interested to hear how you get on. Can't fault BT to be honest, the connection has been rock solid, just on the more expensive side.
I switched to pfSense as the USG3 wasn't cutting it at the time. Still have Unifi APs and switches so considering switching back to Unifi for the router/gateway. One thing that's putting me off is I run Avahi and udpbroadcast relay as plugins in pfSense for some cross vlan broadcast traffic...
I got my outdoor sofa set from Club Rattan 3 years ago. Still looks in good condition, the cushions are stored in one of those outdoor plastic containers over the winter and the chairs are covered. The frame is either galvanised steel or aluminium, not sure which I have but I imagine it'll be...
While not an image retention related issue, my 3 year old Samsung QLED is on its way out with a horizontal line across the screen with dithering and colour tinting below it. From what I've read, it sounds like the panel is goosed. Pretty poor for a 3 year old TV of that cost to pack in.
If you get Sky Q, you can get the F1 channel on its own. Stream and Glass customers however get shafted and have to pay for the full Sky Sports package
Turns out the Sky F1 option is only available to Sky Q customers. So if you have Sky Stream, then you have to either pay for the full F1 sports package or get your F1 fix somewhere else.
Can you get the Sky F1 pack if you have Sky Stream? I paid for Sky Sports on the rolling 30 day contract last year just for F1 as I don’t watch any other sport on Sky.
I can see it on the website but it only mentions SkyQ. I’d rather pay £15 than the £27 I was paying before!
In the games I play (mostly online FPS type games), it offers zero value so I'm not bothered about it. I can see the appeal for single player story driven games to help create an even more immersive atmosphere but other than that...
tbf, he did spout a load of nonsense and the usual FUD you see for EVs but I don't think you can lay the blame on him for it. It's the media funded by big oil.
They are better for the environment but not perfect. I don't know anyone that claims they are. But you will then get idiots on social media suddenly becoming environmentalists, nature lovers and mining experts claiming all sorts of bad things about how an EV is made but overlooking all the...
Maybe people waiting on Hydrogen should watch this…
I also read tonight that Shell are closing their Hydrogen refuelling stations in California.

They also have advanced battery management systems to balance all the cells and keep everything at the best operating temperatures via heating or cooling.
So Hydrogen is "allowed" to evolve but battery tech isn't? The combustion engine has been evolving for over 100 years. Battery tech for cars has only really ramped up in the last 10-20 years. We've already went from cars with 50 miles range to 300+.
Hydrogen combustion still emits NOx when burnt.
