I have just put together a new PC and I am encoutering a problem. I have built it out of the case to test everything.
Motherboard is gigabyte B760M DS3H
CPU is i5-13400 13th gen
Power supply isbe quiet pure power 12m
I have plugged in my 24 pin power connector to the motherboard, and the other...
Thanks for all of your advice so far. Today I have started the build.
I am encoutering a problem. I have built it out of the case to test everything.
I have plugged in my 24 pin power connector to the motherboard, and the other end of that cable splits in to two cables (20 pin and 8 pin). I...
Thanks both. I got a rear case fan.
I have been reading about the VRMs on the motherboard potentially getting too hot a throttling this CPU. Do you think that is much of a worry?
Before I hit buy on this, I wanted to check that it all looks good. The only addition I have made is a second drive so I have one for windows and one for storage. And I added thermal paste, although IM not sure if the CPU already comes with this.
Would I be better of buying one smaller m.2...
Thanks for this.
Video editing is mostly CPU intensive, but some things are gpu accelerated. Not really sure what the split is on importance.
Is there any benefit to getting a second hard drive for the operating system alone?
I am in the market fior a new PC. I was going to buy a prebuilt system, but I got thinking about building my own. I did it once before about 15 years ago, but nothing since then.
What kind of % mark up is there on a pre built vs self built?
That said, can anyone help me pick out the...
To say Jimi Hendrix cant play well is laughable in my opinion. Have you actually listened to him? You would describe bold as love, or little wing as just noises is a bit far fetched.
I'm looking to upgrade my s8 to the s10. I want to stick with EE but there plans are a bit ridiculous at the moment.
Dies anyone know from past experience when EE plans will start to drop in price?
You have also typed on a public forum that your friend lied to his bank about his card getting stolen.
As this is quite a large amount of money, the bank will investigate this. The most likely thing they'll do first is Google the club name and "fraud" to see if there are past reports. It will...
I want to connect my laptop to my stereo amp. I want to avoid using headphone out as I would like to make use of the DAC in the amp (Cambridge audio CXA60)
Are there any USB sound cards which will give me SPDIF out? I have both TOUSLINK and digital coax on my amp, but would prefer to use the...
Hi
I am looking to build a new PC which will predominantly be used for media. Are there any considerations I need to make with what graphics card I choose for playing 4k hdr content. I am guessing it needs to output over hdmi 2.0 but beyond that I am not sure if there is anything else I need to...
I'm about to buy a new PC and I am wondering what will be the best way to connect to my stereo. I have a Cambridge audio cxa60 which has toslink and digital coaxial. It's my understanding that digital coaxial is probably the best option?
My question is would I benefit from including a sound...
Hi
Its been about 8 years since I last bought a television so I am a little out of the loop. I have a budget of of around £1000 but would be willing to stretch it a little bit, perhaps up to $1100 if it was really worth it.
The TV will be plugged into a media PC, blurry player and perhaps a...
In an ideal world, what is the best way to arrange your os, games, programs and media?
Give the os it' own drive and everything else another? Or install programs on the same drive as os?
Finally made the decision to upgrade my s6 to the S8+. I am quite impressed so far.
I managed it get the S8+ with EE for £44 per month on their max plan with 25Gb of data and unlimited text and minutes. £20 upfront.
