    New Alienware Q3 2020

Yes, this monitor only has a small number of vertical variable backlight zones which is why black areas will appear to 'flicker' on when something appears in that zone. The reason they are only seeing flickering on the left and side is the right hand side is already illuminated due to the white...

    New Alienware Q3 2020

I've had the AW3821DW now for a couple of weeks now. Really pleased with it, came from a pair of U2412M monitors so it's quite a jump to ultrawide with G-Sync and HDR. Paired with a 2080 which seems able to drive most games reasonably well, sometimes need to drop some of the settings down. I've...

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Bench Thread

Kaapstad, these figures are from the Trial/Demo version, the benchmark seems the same as the full version but note that the build number is different. No problem if you don't want to include in the results: DX12 1080p 2080 @1950/3625 8700K @4.8 417.35 Drivers

The Turing RTX 2080 Owners Thread

Although the heatsink on the Asus Dual OC doesn't have heatpipes it still seems to do a reasonable job cooling, but I don't think my figures are as good as some of the temps of the FE cards. Running Heaven 4 on Ultra/Extreme/x8/1440p using the Asus GPU Tweak in OC mode, GPU at 1890, memory...

Got mine on Thursday but only got round to installing today as I purchased it as part of a full system upgrade. Here it is still wrapped in plastic:

SImple solution for Intel 6 series problem

Azuse05: Yeah I agree, I don't see why Intel don't just offer to send out PCI/PCIe SATA boards for folks who want to use more than 2 SATA ports. Most will only need them for Optical disks anyway as they'll have all their main drives/SSD attached to the fast 6gb ports anyway.

Whos Ordered a 8800gt after seeing g92 GTS price?

I've gone from a EVGA SSC GT which I had to RMA because it couldn't run at it's pre-overclocked speed to a stock GTS and it has cost me 7 quid. I should easily be able to OC the GTS myself past what the GT was capable of. So for me the GTS price I paid over the GT was fine.

    8800GTS 512MB Ramblings Thread

Could someone who has managed to get a new Gigabyte GTS confirm the manufacturer's product code for me? GV NX88S512H-B This is what they have it listed on their site as, but I've also seen this code used elsewhere for a GT.
