I was tempted in by the price too, but I can only install first party Microsoft games, anything else like Metro for example just throws an error. As with the OP i had some problems installing the app too and updating Windows etc to get it to work.

Bah, I thought they would show MP in the same way they did with 4, from different "live" perspectives in the game, not just spliced together edits. Hopefully we'll get that from the show floor.

Makes me more worried to update from v14. Were you overclocked at all? If so did you reset everything to default before the flash?

Very happy with my move to a 1700 1080p. Granted I was coming from a 2500k @ 4.5, but performance in BF1 is greatly improved and maxxes out my 1070 so I set it to 110% resolution scale for a bit more eye candy. Aside from the cold-boot annoyances with memory speeds, I'm very happy.

I think that could be the case, either that or the hardware is degrading. Last week I was booting fine on 3.8 CPU and 2933 RAM. It became 1 CMOS clear required and reset, then 2, and now it's taking at least 3 clears to cold boot with the same settings that previously worked without issue. (MSI...

It seems I spoke too soon about manually setting RAM resolving cold boot issues. I just had to go through two rounds of OC setup and CMOS clearing before it made it through POST once warm. The RAM issues really do need to be sorted in the next BIOS updates.

Same board here, and yep that seems to be the case. Can't really think of a reason why though. Roll on more BIOS updates :p
