It was the standard spectre 200mm fan I got, not the pro version. One other odd thing I noticed about the standard spectre is that you can only mount it one way. If you want to mount it at the front it can only be used as an exhaust not an intake.
Still looking for a suitable fan for the...
I bought one of the 200mm spectre's and really disappointed with it to the degree that I will consider RMA'ing it. It is really quiet but that is only because it hardly moves any air at all. The OC web site states a CFM of 65 and a air pressure of 1.48mmH2O however the box states a CFM of 47...
Just a quick question about the temps on this board.
The PCH temp in bios at stock is 61 and system is 42, do these seem about right. Just gone back to PC after being a Mac user so not sure on what temps are about right.
Thanks
Thanks for the heads up about the spectres. Looking at the specs for both the CMs and the spectres, the CM push a lot more air but at a lower pressure, any thoughts on which suit the this case better.
Am I also correct in thinking that fitting the CM (due to them being thicker) to the front...
I have tried looking for the specs about the stock fans in the corsair 650d and cannot find any. Can anybody with this case who has switched the 200mm fans out and replaced them with the Megaflows tell me if they are much quieter.
I am running the stock fans on the inbuilt controller on low...
Hi folks,
Now that IB is out I an just about to order the last parts of my build.
It is all going to go in a Corsair 650D.
I had already bought a Noctua NH D14 which i got at a reduced rate when I managed to get one of the free Antec 620 coolers when I bought my Gigabyte m/b.
I bought the...
Gibbo,
Are you likely to be stocking this RAM for some time? I was looking at getting 8Gb for my new build with the possibility of getting some more if i need it (for running Vm's). No one else seems to stock it so if you stopped then I would be looking at a getting another 16GB of a different...
Thanks Cobra
Can you just confirm one thing, that the stick tension is adjustable.
Looks like I will have to get a new stick as it will cost me over £270 to replace the cougar gimbals and sensors to ones that are up to the task.
I dont suppose you have the rudder pedals that go with the saitek?
I had a e6300 @ 3.2 with scythe ninja in a Akasa Mirage case and the load temps went up to 64 underload. I fitted a Swiftech Apex Ultra kit and load temps are now 48 (running small ffts) with the fans running at 5v and the pump on the second lowest setting out of 5. I cannot hear the pump and...
Cobra,
I am thinking of getting a replacement for my cougar and the X52 pro seems the obvious choice. Can you tell me what sort of tension there is on the joystick, I kinda got used to the heavy feel of the cougar. Also what are your general observations on the x52 pro.
Thanks
