Its the Sapphire 6700 I went for. The case is a Fractal Design Define 7 Compact. I've tried some other games, like Doom Eternal, and that set to Ultra keeps a solid 144fps and barely gets to 80 degrees. So I'm wondering to what degree the drivers are a factor. I've not tried undervolting yet.

Now installed it. Nothing blew up! I installed the latest drivers (22.8.1), but thats it, no tweaks. New stats are: 1080p High - RX 6700 1080p Extreme - RX 6700 Userbenchmark seems to think I should maybe OC it, or tweak some settings?

I'm looking to upgrade my EVGA 1060 6GB SC, to be able to play most games at 1080p in Ultra. Would the RX 6700 seem to be the best bet? I'm not sure how much difference the different brands make...

Well, I've been running it all night on xmp 3200 now, it had a few apps open and downloading some games etc.. and its not thrown an error. Not sure why it would be more stable now - luck? I think I'll see how this goes and take it from there. Perhaps the next step would be to try that beta...
