I upgrading from a 6800xt to a 7900xtx and it was a good jump. I feel it's only worth upgrading to a 7900xtx, 4080 super or 4090, but being this far into the product cycle I would probably wait for the new cards.

I have never had a problem using all 4 slots, my old AM4 system all 4 slots filled will no problem at all. My son's AM5 system has all 4 slots filled (4x16GB 6000Mhz CL32) using Expo II settings and is running great, I wasn't even planning to fill all his slots, but I had a spare identical ram kit.

I think it's new software, that will eventually replace pico streaming.

This is the first I have heard about PICO Connect, I use my Pico 4 to play IL2 Sturmovik. Has anyone in this thread tried it?

I have a Pico 4 and not had to touch any of the AMD adrenalin setting to set it up, also the Pico 4 is not listed in the AMD VR settings. I have found it doesn't matter if it's not listed, it just works with the Pico software and steam VR.

I just used the single connector as I was happy with that before. It's the 360, but my case can take a 420 top and front, noise level seems about the same. I can't tell any difference really. My old 360 cooler is going to go in my daughter Phanteks Eclipse P400 Air case, when I upgrade her cpu.

That was what I thought too. So if your using it on an AMD CPU, your good to go. I shouild have mine tomorrow, though I won't get to fit it till Saturday.

Ordered the 360mm A-RGB black yesterday for £77, I was not planning on getting a new cooler. But after watching both Nexus videos I was sold :D But at that price it's a no brainier and I can use my current one for my daughters PC upgrade later in the year, it's only a year old.

I used an Artic Liquid Freezer II 240mm on my son's 7800X3D build and it's doing a great job and it doesn't seem noisy.

Like Beep says, you need to move to a newer architecture.

Mine is the Brother DCP-L2530DW and it has WIFI to, not sure if they still make mine. Though the HL-1110 looks good for the money

Well I have installed the extra 32GB in my son's PC, so running 64GB now and all seems fine. Kept the memory set to Expo 2 in the bios and updated the bios to the latest.

I had heard their is sometimes issues, I will check to see if their is a bios update to. It may help with stability, though I did up date when I built it.

That's quite a good Idea, have them as a backup.
