Something new

Here we are 24 hours are snip and spay. Post-op they were bouncing off the walls and had a record 12 hour play session! Both very happy to be back and can't stop coming up to purr and rub against my wife and I. Hopefully the last op they'll have touch wood.

Added a few dwarf puffers to the tank last week. I had read that they eat snails. Didn't quite believe it but we've gone from about a hundred nuisance snails to about 20 in a week. Very pleased! Also got 6 cherry barbs which look fantastic and seem to be enjoying the tank - very active fish.

Where I work all our offices are open plan. However a number of desks are hot desks and you turn up and take your pick. Normally works quite well (odd noise issues) except when at one point in my team there were 3 times the amount of people to hot desks and every morning was a fight to get in...

George and Daisy have grown over the last couple of weeks. Discovered fleas on them over Christmas day so present opening was followed by bathing cats. Now treated with Stronghold from vet and fleas are gone and kittens are out roaming again.

Both come from the same litter - white mother, unknown dads! One looks tabby, the other tortoise shell. George on the left is smallest of the litter and seemed so relaxed when we met him. Daisy on the right was trying to explore. Not coming home quite yet as still with mum.

Struggled on rocks at nearest fish store and went to Maidenhead Aquatics in Reading where they had quite a big selection of rock types. This one just seemed to fit the look we were going for.
