Blitz kit it is then :D
I was looking at the pro version (which I assume is what everyone meant) and noticed that it states "Do not use on plated products". The plugs on the radiators are plated (black nickel I think), will that be an issue or is it just a cosmetic thing?
The rads did come...
I have two coolgate 420mm radiators here, I ran hot water through them for about an hour but they were still very dirty inside:
So I filled one of them with citric acid (10%) for 30 minutes and here are the results:
It's obviously still not clean inside but I'm a little...
I was just looking at an image on the screen, I doubt that had anything to do with the fault. My guess would be a dodgy connection between the panel and the column driver chip, or maybe the chip itself is somehow faulty. The monitor had been on all day so might be triggered by it getting warm?
So I've had this monitor for a few days and I've been liking it so far but last night an entire column went bad. The fault went away for about 10 minutes then came back, then went away again for the rest of the night. It's still gone at least for now. So this is the worst type of fault, the kind...
gah, you said the BF deals were live! :(
I've already hit the order button, if I missed the discounts on any of it would it be possible to have them applied to my order?
Thanks for the feedback :)
The fans have a high static pressure rating if that's what you mean? 3.12 mm H2O
The 2 radiators, 6 fans and the pump/res will be going in an external cooling unit. There's not a lot of room to spare for a seperate pump and res without blocking airflow.
I'll be...
Hopefully pulling the trigger tomorrow morning when the sales start
If you look at my signature you can see this upgrade is long overdue, built this rig back in 2006

This will mainly be used for photo and HD video editing. It's going into an existing case (antec plusview 1000 AMG) with a tagan TG480-U01 PSU.
Note: I forgot to add a SATA DVDRW before I uploaded the image :o
Does this look like a resonable setup for the task? And will the power...
I forgot about the customer services forum, i'll have to make a thread in there.
edit: From the FAQ:

The problem with the heatpipes is they're in the way of the holes I need to drill. Anyone know what's inside them and how nasty it is?
If spleenharvester does end up with the...
I ordered some stock coolers (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-000-OP) which just arrived. Sadly they're not the type pictured, they're the heatpipe version. Is it pot luck which type you get or are there only heatpipe coolers available?
I was really looking for the...
Right, i've just requested my MAC code. Even at this time of the day the speed is abysmal, last night even sites with a lot of bandwidth behind them (e.g. google) were timing out :(
Going to go with BE unlimited, unless I would be better off with one of the O2 packages? 40GB just isn't enough...
First time using ADSL, was previously on 20mbit VM cable
edit: I should point out that it was only turned on today and that it's still doing its learning thing... 1mbit seems to be extremely low as a starting point though, which is why i'm posting.
Just got sky connect (8mb) up and running and i'm a bit concerned about the speeds i'm getting...
I pinged www.bbc.co.uk as well to get packet loss stats:

Sounds like your sound card is picking up interference from various sources inside the PC. A seperate decent sound card _may_ help, either internal or USB.
You'll still have the problem on the front panel connector if you go the USB route though as there's no way to connect it up, but it's more...
