How are people getting GPU's ?

where is that? Is this up already?

AMD has an 8 core eng. sample, with DDR4 running at 5000mhz+ (1t)

I've looked at benches and it still looks like a massive improvement over the past iGPU's. I remember testing the old A10 and although at low settings and 720p, being able to play overwatch on it (which at the time was a new title). This thing is like 3x faster. We're talking here about an...

980ti died, what do you suggest?

Tbh now that the 980ti boots I'll probably sell it, you'll probably still get like £350 for it now:cry::cry:

ClockTuner 2.0 for Ryzen... do YOU have a Golden Sample? Post your results here. :)

doesn't work with non-x CPU's as it assumes the 'stock' values too low, I got 3900 which happily runs under 100% load 24/7 when rendering at 1.26v @4.25ghz all core locked under max load, yet, this tells me my CPU can only do 4050mhz at 1.35v or 3900mhz at 1.25. The 'tune' feature sets at...

    Intel 11400 - a gem for gamers?

It's not worse though is it, the 5600x is better. The 3600 is a bit slower yes, 5-10%. Motherboards are subjective, you can get a decent 470 mobo for £100ish brand new or b450 even cheaper. If anything the ryzen motherboards are cheaper, especially 2nd hand. The intel cpu also needs a cooler...

    Intel 11400 - a gem for gamers?

Better upgrade path rather than buying into a dead socket with overpriced and worse high end if you ever wanted to snap 2nd hand 5800x/5900x in 2 years or something for peanuts? But yeh 5600x is overpriced right now. At £200 it would be much better value. Prices might go up though on intel...

Should I OC my cpu? 3900xt (new build)

Yep, I undervolted mine and still got more power overall. Gotta say these run hot. My custom wc loop keeps mine cool but I can see how others have problem without good AIO or something like the NHD14

    ** NIK'S ANNUAL B-GRADE BLOWOUT!!!! **

Obviously it's my loss for trying to save a few quid so nothing to worry, glad you're enjoying them. I'm happy more people can enjoy a good quality sound as most don't know what they're missing about. I've got few other bits so wasn't that desperate for them, perhaps it was meant to be ;)...

Should I OC my cpu? 3900xt (new build)

Depends what you do the other 70% of the time and whether it uses all cores or just a few. I got 3900 and did mostly video editing so locked all cores at 4.25ghz on low voltage so it could run cool enough to hold all cores on that speed over long periods when rendering. If I was gaming mostly...

    Looking for 1080Ti performane @ £250

Good OC on Vega 64 isn't far off, they used to go for £160-180 last year ... now £600+. I wanted to get a second one to match my WC loop but it's impossible

    3d rendering and gaming

Anyone who has to ask what PC to build and hasn't already got a 5k specialist system is unlikely to work in enough professional capacity to need 64gb, and it's easy to always add more if needed, just go for 2x16gb sticks. If they needed it they would have known by now. I guess £150 motherboard...

    3d rendering and gaming

Don't need 64gb ram - 32 is plenty really. Also cheaper mobo, 0 reason to spend more there. easy £200 saving there.

    Lowest power draw PC

Wouldn't a 4200G or something build be pretty good for this? Should be plenty of power for these types of games and should be pretty efficient on power, potentially could even undervolt it slightly.

New build, terrible performance and benchmarks

Did you try running the GPU on stock non high performance settings on anything. It's really weird but it almost entire points at GPU for some reason... Tried different PCI-E slot on mobo?

*** New Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 Cases ***

I fail to see the point of buying 14 RGB halos for £300 to then slap £5.99 fans on there. You know you can just get BETTER fans with RGB for less :D. I think the case comes in with PCIE adapter as well and supports vertical cards (my p600s comes with them) so might not need one? Great case...
