TV spec £700 - £1k. Full requirements in post.

Hi All, So my LG B9 should be arriving anytime this afternoon. Looking at a sound solution, I am very tempted by the Sonos beam + x2 SYMFONISK Table lamps. Seems convenient and i'm budgeting around £700. Are there any other obvious setups I should consider before i pull the trigger? Thanks.

    Crysis Remastered 2020

I bought a dell-xps-m1730 to play this game. Desktop killer! I was about to order a "Rock" laptop but they went bust just before I pulled the trigger. My version had SLI 8800 GTX. I loved that laptop right up till the GFX's overheated on me for the second time (18 months after purchase). fair...

    Doom Eternal

There is plenty of Ammo in this game, as long as you cycle your guns and keep some fodder on hand and treat them as ammo crates. This is not a mindless game it's challenging by design with appropriate difficulty. There are a lot of mechanics which will become muscle memory given time and at...

    Doom Eternal

Finished Doom Eternal this afternoon, took my time with it. I had a blast, really enjoyable single player. The platforming is so easy it's a nice bit of down time between the intense fights, I actually liked it and it's a credit to the games pacing. Doesn't take long at all to get accustomed...

    49" monitor, multiple screens

Best solution for me is get one of those super thin Chinese monitors ( I have a 15inch one) and have it sit under your monitor. I have mine on my desk resting up against the bottom bezel of my widescreen. I can now game whilst watching media comfortably and also have quick access to discord...

    root canal or extraction

I'm not a fan of needles but honestly I have had quite a few at the dentist for work on my front tooth over the years (crown work). This part of the process doesn't hurt (subject to the competency of the dentist I guess) I have actually started to stop worrying about it. In terms of pain it's...

    root canal or extraction

I'm going to need to an extraction ahead of my implant. Mine is going to be done by the dental surgeon but again i got to pay for it (£200). ^ Just re read the bit where you took them out yourself. Flipping heck!

    root canal or extraction

Reccently been told I need to have an Implant on my front left tooth. £2750 and procedure looks doomy. Will take 6 months from start to finish, too. I have an NHS dentist but this isn't covered.

    SAMSUNG LC43J89 -- wall mount

Hi All, I have had this monitor for nearly a year now, and am now tempted to mount it to my wall. I believe it takes 100x100mm vesa mount. Just wanted to know if anyone had any experience in doing this and if there is a particular mount i should be looking at? I don't have a budget, happy to...

    Rage 2 - Announce trailer

I wasn't that interested in the Icarus once I flew it a few times. Much preferred bombing around in my upgraded Phoenix. Once you get the hang of the driving mechanics it doesn't take long getting from A to B (and even quicker with strategic fast travels).

best deatmatch and large scale open world exploration?

I recommend Rage 2. Lots of open world content which is meaningful and the story missions have a very deathmatch "arena" vibe.

The last game you completed, and rating.

Rage - 8.5 (22hrs play time). Combat is everything in this game and it is fantastic; extremely satisfying. All of the weapons, all of the abilities, such fun! The wasteland was a missed opportunity but i didn't hate it, getting from point A to B doesn't take too long. The game is best enjoyed...

*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

Hi there, i have 125 + hours in the game and, whilst i find the end of game/ backing out process really slow, i do not suffer hang ups where the page does not move on... eventually.
