Theres a lot more problems to worry about on a Euro6 T6/T6.1 than a DPF
Common Problems we see every week:
Flywheels (all models) rattling - £1000 Job
EGR Valves Leaking Coolant - £1200 Job
Inlet Manifolds Carbon up, seizing the swirl flaps - £1200 Job
Wiring Faults - £600+
It will be fine, you might find it does soft regens a bit more, but you shouldn't notice.

The Raptor and Top Spec Amarok are classed as a car anyways, I've been looking into buying a Ranger through the business for a while as it does help VAT and Corporation Tax wise, but it's pretty impractical for me.
You sure it wasn't the silica bag in the heater tank breaking up? When we fit a new heater matrix in VAG cars, TPS will only honour Warranty on them if we use their flushing solution and fit a new header tank!
