Thank you for you answser. The "pinkish" tint effect is very variable from one 2408 to another. Sometimes it's not or barely noticable, on others 2408 it could be very marked. But A01 seems ineed to have improved this issue. I also have a 2408 (A01), and I'm very happy with it. ;)

Indeed the manufactured month is written on a small sticker on the back of the LCD. Alternatively, you can use SoftMCCS (if you are under Windows). It give you the manufactured week, example: 2008 ISO Week 20. This is between 12 and 18 of May 2008

Till now I've received both 0CX268 and 0G286H, both rev.A00 and the old firmware. I've heard about 0CX268 rev A01 (see above in this forum). But I never heard (nor the Dell Tech Support) about a third part# rev.A00 but integrating the new firmware. If somebody can give me this new part#...
