They're a fair bit more than stock, my ko4 base map was 270whp and my s3 base map felt faster than my finished ko4 tune from what I remember. The total tmic isn't a patch on a cpe one and you know it ;)

Something amiss really, as it should see 400bhp with the s4 without even stressing the turbo. The only thing holding that setup back is the total tmic which is basically scrap. I'd imagine Justin's base map would have been over 300bhp to begin with.

If its a stock map then that accesport won't be married to it surely? Maybe it's a stage 1 OTS map but if Justin says it's stock then it probably is. Check the hose from intake manifold to bpv too, that'll cause a lumpy idle if there's a split.

Sounds like a bad MAF or MAF calibration. If they had a bigger intake on previously which increased the MAF housing diameter the map would have been tuned for it. Could be the reason it's lumpy. Mine needed to be revved when started from cold when I had a 3" MAF cal instead of 3.5". Post up the...

Good stuff that the VVT has been done, can be pretty expensive. Reconditioned turbos are useless. It'll still blow the seals at some point. Start saving for a better turbo if you plan to keep it. Is it an OTS tune? Contact Versatuner and you'll be able to get the software if you don't already...

Definitely find out who remapped it. Very finicky and maps from places like BBR and Total-MPS do more harm than good. You'll probably find that with a map from someone like Justin it'll go much better and a lot safer too.

Looking to put down about 25K on either an 8P RS3 or an 8V S3. Haven't test drove either yet just wondering if the RS3 is special enough in comparison to the S3. RS3's seem to be holding there value slightly better too. Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure it's actually pulling timing in 1st and 2nd. You can have it removed with a remap. Unplugging SWAS helps too, especially for bends. Simple in mine too. Clutch in, accelerator down and let the clutch out. It's next to useless in a reasonably powered FWD car though.
