Hey! I've been debating for a while which monitors to get, with similar requirements to yourself. I went for one 27" 1440p monitor at 144hz for extra smoothness especially in FPS games (been playing a fair bit of CSGO and Destiny 2) - finally decided on the Aorus AD27QD (Gigabyte's new IPS)...

If anybody here has ordered specifically from OCUK, how is their returns policy? Is there a no questions asked refund policy if dead pixels are found?

So this monitor has caught my eye as it pretty much checks all the boxes I'm after - 27", 144hz, 1440p, IPS with G-Sync or something at least G-Sync compatible. Reviews sound good so far, though a lot have mentioned that it is expensive for what you get. I'm struggling to find other monitors...

I'd say almost exclusively for gaming. Minor productivity work and light development - nothing overly taxing. Currently gaming at 1080p, but looking to move to a 1440p 144Hz monitor next year potentially. I've opted for Intel/Nvidia mainly because that is what I've had most experience with...

Yeah I actually didn't mean to include it, decided it probably wasn't necessary. It won't be used for gaming, but without any GPU there shouldn't be a problem streaming HD videos etc, right?
