Being a big fan of the Zalman flower I wanted to get one for the i5 but given my Coolermaster Black Widow case I was a little restricted in height. The 9700 size is a perfect fit but only comes with the 775 bracket by default. I sourced a Zalman 1155 bracket for £3 (amazing how little...

Have done some tests at default for everything but with a 40x CPU ratio. Mine defaults to about 1.26v with slightly higher temperatures. Using 1.12v worked fine for my CPU and with stock cooler gave 67c tops for prime run of about 2 hours.
I did also get the system to run at default with 45x...
Thought i'd replace my 24/7 machine with some newer kit but wanted to keep the power and temps as low as possible whilst having the ability to number crunch when needed. Currently only using the stock cooler but will replace this shortly - Probably with a Zalman Flower as thats what I've had in...

All OCUK have done is sold the drive to...
I recently move the contents of my 2x 500Gb Samsung HDD onto a single Seagate 1.5TB drive. I'm a little disappointed to find that the Seagate is more noisy. Now this is very subjective as the noise is little more than ticking as the drive seeks, but neither of the older Samsung's where audiable...
Sorted after an hour of trawling posts.. Tried each PCI device that was not recognised and made it look at the HDAudBUS.sys file. Rebooted and the the SoundMax allowed me to install.
