i chatted to OCUK last week as my Asus Strix 4090 OC hotspot was reaching 97c during the hot weather. but they dont seem to see it as a problem and only if it reached 100c. but then it seems they dont take hotspot into account and it would have to be the core reaching 100c? now my hotspot is...

just got this monitor its seems excellent! flicking through the menus it says its on M3B103 is that the lastest firmware already installed? edit - had a look the newest is M3B104. do i also need to install other stuff like Alienware Command Center Application - Full Installer and Dell...

for those on asus (maybe other mb's?) what is your SP rating of the cpu in bios? Mine says 91, does it necessarily mean it will overclock or generally perform better the higher it is?

cinebench r23 multicore will likely get your cpu up and above 80c if you wanna see lol

yeah wanted to avoid too much messing around with timings (i'll do pbo +co) so i can get away with nice improvements with the quick and easy expo tweaked i'll be satisfied i think

that is indeed impressive! as for myself i wouldnt expect to see 91c+ hotspot (non hotspot is 73c) with 27.8c ambient temp considering the strix is supposed to have the best non water cooling

expo tweaked is the one to make a difference: in aida64 my latency was 72.4ns or sometimes 74ns and with expo tweaked its consistently 64ns

so i got curious tried out expo 2 and in comparison to expo 1 the only thing it does is lower trc from 146 to 112 making its existence seem rather pointless? lol anyways on to test expo tweaked i suppose
