    Lettuce - Vegetable?

A salad is a combination of vegetables. Lettuce is a vegetable and a constituent part of a salad. Poxy women.

Does this belong to the snack pimping guy? The logos look the same.

Spec me a snack that isn't ridiculously unhealthy!

I stumbled upon this highly healthy snack yesterday: Giant Oreo om nom nom Possibly not what you're looking for though. I think there could be a really good market for tasteless, neutral food that does nothing but provide 100% RDA of vitimins and gives you some mass to pass through the...

eBay Issue - A bit stuck with problem seller (now buyer!?!)

That's definitely an interesting one - someone buying from you in order to leave negative feedback in retribution for an earlier transaction. Well, recorded delivery at a minimum, and if you want to go really hardcore, go and find a lawyer who will sign, ahead a time, a sworn statement saying...

    Sent Item To Wrong Address

I managed to read this thread quickly by searching just for the OPs posts ;) What a slippery fish that guy was, the kind of horrible, grasping person who will quite happily try to grab something for free without a thought and is entirely unconcerned if someone else ends up losing out because of...

    £19k from nowhere

This happened to me once, £300 mysteriously went in and out of my account, it was just a ****-up. However, if they do take it, ring the bank angrily and demand to know what is going on. If you make a sufficient fuss, including talking about the Bank's evident lack of security and procedures to...

What happened to the Paul James thread?

I go to bed and wake up and the Paul James thread is nowhere to be seen, what happened? A log of mod actions would be awesome, to stop people like me wondering what happened to good threads.

Yeah, there we go. I've included the arrow since it doesn't immediately leap out at you.

    Question about paypal.

Yes, usually when you come to pay via paypal, there is a very discreet link on the page that says 'pay without signing in to your account'. They keep it small and hidden, of course, because they want you to sign up and provide all of your details. This was when I last checked anyway, they...

    Help me do some maths!

    1. 5 cds with 14 damaged cases? That'd be 0%, the cd's aren't damaged, only the cases. 5. c = 4. Can't be arsed to work out the rest ;)

Quote for the enormous amount of truth in this statement. It doesn't even occur to her that she could save loads of money by not smoking.

    Applying for the Police

Do they have fast-tracking (if you're highly qualified) or have some kind of system in place that takes into account experience and age? Starting at 20k when you're 18 is fine, but what if you decide you'd fancy the police if you were in your mid-20s or 30s but decided to go for a change of...

    paypal query

If it's no longer linked then they can no more take money out of your account than I could. Mind you, they would probably also freeze your Paypal account indefinitely for not providing them a method to steal the money back.

Buying presents for your other half.

As long as she's being genuine, don't worry about it. If It was me I wouldn't be bothered about getting something afte the refund either. Some people just aren't very materialistic :)

    A million dollar idea

Perhaps its a sociological experiment to see just how many people would donate a quid for no reason. He doesn't even say please, or offer any incentive. You'd think someone who was genuinely trying to convince you would say... something. I'm putting my (undonated) money on it being a weird...
