Chrome 68 update has messed up colours

Same here. The hell is with this urine filter? If this is some forced automatic brightness crap for eye strain WITHOUT the option to go back (Nothing I can see in the Settings), then this is dumb. EDIT... Turn OFF hardware acceleration and everything is back to normal. Yeah .... really dumb...

Asus Xonar U7 - any good?

I have the U7 Echelon Edition version of this device and while it has been pretty decent, ever since the W10 FCU it's been really finicky, and to be quite honest, ASUS driver support has been complete utter **** any way. :p If you don't care about using Dolby Home Theater that comes with the...

    ASUS Xonar U7 - Drivers Win 10

Use the Windows 8 8.0.11.19 WHQL drivers. I have the U7 Echelon and it works fine with those. ( I have no need of the Sonic Studio fluff any way) Occasionally the Dolby HTV4 can be a bit of a pain to get working too, but otherwise the hardware itself works fine. ASUS truly sucks when it comes...

    The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Yep Goldberg at Royal Rumble is official. Also Jeri-KO still continues to be entertaining as ever. Their friendship troll during the Highlight Reel segment, but best of all, that Sin Cara mask nod. :D

    The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

It's actually a combination of a lot of different things going by all the recent reports. To sum up..... Brock was originally scheduled to win, but after all the positive reaction for Goldberg's return, and Lesnar saw money in the idea and even pushed for a longer programme. Goldberg being...

    The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Yep this is "wrestling world logic" here. Even real MMA fights last just as long, so to apply that bit of it to pro-wrestling isn't far off. Goldberg was THE monster long before Brock so it actually works? Again, it's the rebirth of classic WCW Goldberg even against Brock for a moment...

    The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

Not going to lie, Goldberg vs Lesnar was just amazing. Makes me feel like a little kid again. :D Not only is it made obvious by the crowd reaction, but a lot of people even online are liking it too. It makes sense from a story perspective, and definitely gives hope for "Superman for the kids"...

How is it all going at the moment? It's a shame to see you are still having problems, especially as a new customer, it's not going to look great on their record. Though one can also blame Openreach for not doing their job correctly on the line specifically. So far mine has been...

I'm using the TP-Link VR600 myself. Great hardware and with a good Broadcom chip used and is rock solid. But yeah, stats page and diagnotics is incredibly limited and not much you can do. :(

Do the "Further Diagnostics" test afterwards. I still have to wait till 7AM tomorrow until my fault troubleshooting period ends, and assuming my own speeds are reset/back to normal, I'll be back on the complaint train. :D

    Xonar U7 - odd issue

How long was it used by time it was bought on the MM? I see that on average and even by some people over at the U7 thread over at Head-Fi, build quality/longevity tends to be anywhere around 6 months to a year before this little thing starts crapping out, which is incredibly worrying and a...

I'm always on wired ethernet and I already tried all those tests. Same thing. On the bright side, Upload rate is at full speed. :p I should've been more specific, the 2 days is because I'm still on the fault troubleshooting period that PN are doing on their end.

Well the engineer finished up the work today, connecting the new line from the pole, drop line etc, and initial tests and such from the router are showing I am connected at pretty much the full speed. Current Rate is 79987/20000. The Max Rate though is 91213/26896 ...... ahhh if only! :p Will...

    Xonar U7 - odd issue

The U7 and Windows 10 tends to have a whole bunch of issues for a lot of people. Fortunately my Echelon Edition is doing fine. *Touch wood* Anyway as suggested, because it's a USB 2.0 device, make sure it is only used on a USB2 port. Perhaps switch between to USB 1.1 and back to 2.0 modes to...

Had the nice engineer bloke visit earlier in the day and he updated the socket where the router is connected to become the master one, and also removed all the junk from the GPO box that was next to it. That ancient relic was easily cause of a lot of problems on my end. Whilst still connected...

I should be getting the OR engineer visit tomorrow morning and hopefully my problems will be sorted out. Our house is a combination of "GPO" era boxes and such so it's no wonder the fibre cannot keep up and we had coped with it for so long. Funny thing was how the connection was actually...

Yep the impression of cheaper price and line rental is why I decided to stick with Plusnet for fibre, and changing my landline phone to them (Which I was on BT before for the phone), to make it even more cheaper. But with the price rises especially in the line rental and all the BS with the...
