It'll be fine - have a similar build with an EVGA Reference 980Ti SC in an EVGA Hadron case which only has a 500w PSU.....

............. You get redundancy by having two cards in the event one fails, but I've always found the single more powerful card setup to be better in real terms. Keep an old 770 in a cupboard for redundancy & go for the 980Ti. Single card also lets you consider SFF/iTX builds......

Well, makes a 980 look expensive - unless you need a much better GPU.

........... Run mine with an overclock on a 500w EVGA PSU in a Hadron case with 4770K, 3x SSD, ODD, ... etc. with 620w you'll be fine.

I'm sure these will be great - I have an EVGA 770 SC with a reference cooler - it was expensive, but offers remarkable cooling performance in a compact case.
