Don't worry, I've been trying to get jacked for over 15 years, it still didn't happen. It's important to point out that the gentleman in the video didn't achive that kind of physique with that kind of workout (he's got years of heavy lifting and potential light drug use). Lots of people are...

I would say it's absolutely not a great programme for a beginner as the exercises are complex, require a lot of mobility and difficult to do with good form for the majority of the trained gym goers, let alone the untrained ones. Especially the hang clean, front squat (which looks terrible in...

    Opinions on Car Change

I think the this is more to do with the "remapped vs standard" rather than the amount. I noticed the same when installing the dealer fitted M Performance package to my 330d (it was quite a bargain at the time with around £1000 for a new ECU with the updated map, new intercooler as well as 4 pot...

I know it used to be Castrol back in the day (as written on my E46 cap) and then switched to Shell for a good few years but the brief googling I've done said that at least for Europe it's recently back to Castrol as of 2024?

This is a legitimate question. I've done the digging and found the original 800 page thread where a chemical engineer disected the data sheets of various oils and reached that conclusion based on his interpretation and recommendations. (It's not in English but I'm happy to share via pm for those...

This is actually pretty good, no argument there! I would ask how practical is it for the average person to be storing 20L containers around though, not to mention that is essentially 3 oil changes and by the time you get to the third one it might be a tad old. The reason why it's expensive is...

Back in the day it was called "Fuchs TITAN GT1 PRO FLEX XTL 5W-30", I guess now it would be "Fuchs TITAN GT1 PRO C-3 XTL 5W-30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil". I would very much doubt that the Millers caused it (even though it's the cheap stuff, you should use the fancy Millers Oils EE Performance...

I would say you really need to triage the root cause which led to the DPF blockage (could be a broken thermostat, broken DPF pressure sensors, some odd vacuum hose, etc) Unfortunately ignoring that warning light didn't help, most likely the car wasn't doing regens properly and it might have...

Mine was 2012 / 62 plate, one of the earliest models. PCV is definately worth looking into at this age!

I bought my old F30 330d at 105k miles and ran it to around 140k miles. Lots of varied driving including some autobahn blasts across germany where I was sticking to 8th gear 3000rpm (about 130mph?) for extended periods. Never used a drop of oil in that time, I was changing it around roughly...

Interesting, I always wondered on these, whenever I tried using scales that rely on electricity to measure things they tend to be rather errrm unflattering haha. There's some squats: https://youtu.be/liRfyOeKWB4 - need to pull my finger on these and prioritise them a little bit, currently...

I would agree with you but you must remember that a car is inherently a very compromised space to listen to speakers and all speaker enclosures are also very compromised, especially for BMWs. As such DSP makes a huge difference in trying to compensate for that. I've been on quite a journey in...

Thank you, I can see it recommends me an adapter harness to avoid hacking off the cables (always nice!) there's some speakers recommended there in the list but no amp that's compatible with the base system (full poverty with no tweeters, not hi-fi). I guess the question then becomes - what does...

Is there an equivalent amp & DSP option for poverty spec cars with the base system? What's the priority order to get upgrading on a G30 with value for money in mind? I was thinking to start with HK tweeters, door speakers and underseat subs? What should I power them with?

    Sold Car Issues

As everyone else mentioned you're good. Nothing can be done legally, you can remove eBay feedback if you call them and provide screenshots. I think he might be trying it on, I doubt he'll bother trying anything stupid given you do have his details as well.

I see recognisable old names, good good! I've also been away from the forum and now doing a bit of lurking, I've got some videos of PBs to share soon.

I'd say more of a 'moderately sporty, but engaging' type of car that works well with a manual. All the proper high performance stuff is automatic for a good reason nowadays. There's the odd exception but that's all they are - exceptions (Yaris GR and the like). I reckon the Zf8 even... 16...

What have you done to your car today?

30 mins is very good, my London option is 1h drive each way in lovely London traffic. That being said, I am always anxious when using it in case something goes wrong (a wire/ connector breaks, a bolt breaks, a part of something breaks and you have to order a replacement part waiting for days)...
