I did get that thank you. I would like the 4090 as this is my first big PC build and hate to compromise, especially with my great screen. But I was trying to be sensible with the 4080, but then thought the Ryzen works well with the 7900XTX so worth a thought?
Excellent info thank you all. Case swap for a 4090, very interesting thought!
Tetras, thanks for the good ideas in yours, I like the twin M2s. And the free Last of Us, as just watched the series.
Hi, I am going to build a new PC for general use and photo/video work. I do want to play some modern games at 4k and am lucky enough to have a Samsung 4k 165Hz monitor.
Should I go Intel i7+ 4080 or AMD 7900X3D+7900XTX?
Budget up to £3500 but less is good. 850-1000watt psu and 2TB gen 4 M2...
The M340i touring G21 is a tremendous car. It is often said about the 3 series touring, that it is all the car you need! the M340i takes it to another level. Decent noise and excellent performance with lots of space and toys.
We have a M340i touring and a 128ti (and an M140i!!! we like BMWs!)...
And of course many buyers (not on here!) have no clue and don't care what wheels are driven. They like the look or price or brand maybe? I went with BMW because I like the brand and have a good relatinoship with the dealer. When they released the 128ti it ticked all the boxes for us. The M135i...
Evo magazine compares the 128ti with the new Golf GTi Clubsport and rates it more highly.
The 128ti is definitely fun to drive and does what we wanted perfectly so we are happy. The styling is not for everyone (you can delete the red bits for free when you order) but we like it as it is a bit...
I am looking for a 991 GT3 for the future. As most tend to be low mileage and looked after I am hoping engine issues will be minimal? I am looking forward to seeing the 992 GT3 today as the full reveal is later (16th Feb 21). The 992 is supposed to be very good on UK roads especially with its...
The Kamiq and the Seat Arona are the smaller ones and have had updates recently I think. The Karoq hasn't been done yet I think, but the equivalent Seat Ateca has just been updated. Some good finance deals on the Ateca at the moment I think also.
So far I have never paid anything extra as I look after my cars. PCP gives you the option to buy. As I look after them i have bought them at the end before and as Fox says I can get a better car than I could have afforded otherwise. PCH can be good though, but PCP works best for me,
It is incredible how sophisticated they have become. The old quote 'what man can make, man can break'. Despite how the manufacturers try they always seem one step ahead. Physical security (Disklok?) and garaging seem to be be a way to slow them but then they just break in and steal the keys...
