GRID is the game I play most, Have read people having similer problems on codemasters forums, Few thigns they advise is making sure speedstep is disabled in bios (grid doesnt like multiple clock speeds) I dont think there any compatibilty with the 4800 series and grid, I used to use a 4850 now...

What are the temps of your cards on load? Try putting fans on manual and at 50%. Corsair are good psu's but I think with 650w it will be nearing if not hitting its limit

I'd go with the Asus board, it all looks good to me. I wish I had that kinda cash to spend on a build :D

A 4850 would be your best bet i think, As said above thou id wait a month and the prices will probably come down a bit.
