Listen if you have the funds and want the gtx 590 get it.. My colleagues have have had it for the last 6 weeks with no trouble..awesome card

What does your work entail? Why do you need a 6990? I would DSR the card and get something less... OTT. eg. 6950@70 or GTX570 or GTX580 + 1 Very true, what business is it of yours what job he does - his money lol.....:confused::(

If you have £599.99 for gtx 590 go for it..

I have an sr-2 rig and I am pushing 2x 5680's Cpu's. If you are only going to use 1 chip you may as well stick to single socket as you will not benefit from all the sr-2 features
