    One Hit Wonderland

Never heard 'Forever Young'......was it a UK hit? There was a good program on VH1 the other night on one hit wonders but as it was a US show, lots of them had had more than one hit in the UK. A-ha were one hit wonders in the US with 'Take on Me' but obviously had hits here with 'The Sun...

    One Hit Wonderland

Yeah, I seem to recall that song being on the original 'Hits' compilation........anyone remember the 'Hits' tapes? They started off with the 'Now Thats' What I Call Music' tapes and then seemed to fade away....... As soon as I hear that song, I'm 13 again and it's playing in the background...

Gotta agree with 'Midian'........ Personally it's my favourite, with 'Her Ghost in the Fog' etc. Also try 'Bitter Suites to Succubi' - It came out before their last album and has some great new tracks like 'Born in a Burial Gown' but also has new recordings of some of their older classics...

    Congrats Spie!!

Good luck going it alone Spie! I dare say it means more work, responsibility (and liability) but will no doubt be even more rewarding. OCuK has been my first choice for PC hardware since discovering it a couple of years ago and it's always my first recommendation to other people looking to...

    Are you an OcUK addict?

It's a good place to get info and the odd laugh, but I answered to number 2. I normally have the forums minimised on my puter at work so it looks like I'm here more than I am. Just too much else happening in my life to spend all day here!

Where would we be without WARS??

The saying is 'Necessity is the mother of invention'. Not 'all' invention. If you're gonna quibble, at least argue over the correct point! :p

Its a wonder we are all still alive...

Sublime observation! (Wipes a nostalgic tear from his eye.......) I enjoyed reading that immensely! No wonder the kids these days are going down with allergies and illnesses that we didn't worry about when we were young. It's not often I get nostalgic.......it's too often overblown and...

What are you listening to at the moment?

Hmm.... Yeah, noticed the intro to 'Wasteland' in your sig in another post.........a fan I take it? 'Dream On' is cool..........I heard the Aerosmith version before the Mish version so I kind of prefer the original. Still a great cover though - on the B side of 'Tower of Strength' if...
