    ** The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Thread **

I feel your pain. Went to the Three store again today and as per usual, we have no information on the 7 Plus or when we expect to receive it. It absolutely baffles me that they can't produce any data on when they will take delivery of it. Apparently its done on a first come, first served basis -...

    ** The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Thread **

Ditto, but on Three. I ordered mine on the 9th and was told it'd be available by the next week. Then after that, October the 7th, the the 14th, now they cannot give me a date and seemingly have no data on their system as to when they get any stock. And to top it off, I'm already paying for it...

Your best CPU's over the years?

Q6600 - The chip in my first build. Fantastic bang for the buck, easy to clock, and chewed through everything at the time. i5 2500K - Got one of these on the marketplace here, had it running at 4.5GHz with 6970 cards in crossfire. Man I miss that setup. Come to think of it, the Core2 series is...

**WARNING: DO NOT BUY POWERCOLOR 290 PCS+ CARDS FOR MINING (NOW RESOLVED THESE CARDS ARE FINE)!!**

BIOS has been completely reset without any change in stability sadly. Multiple re-installs of Windows hasn't helped either :( both via UEFI and standard BIOS methods. I can only assume that the motherboard doesn't like the card, but it's running the latest BIOS from ASUS.

**WARNING: DO NOT BUY POWERCOLOR 290 PCS+ CARDS FOR MINING (NOW RESOLVED THESE CARDS ARE FINE)!!**

The PCI-E bus has been overclocked as on stock settings the card would completely crash the system when attempting driver installation under Windows. I'd like to think I'm quite competent when it comes to computers, but I've never seen such a problem before. Stock settings are completely...

**WARNING: DO NOT BUY POWERCOLOR 290 PCS+ CARDS FOR MINING (NOW RESOLVED THESE CARDS ARE FINE)!!**

Really sorry to bump such an old thread but I was wondering if you could help me with one of these cards. A friend bought one from Overclockers over christmas and it was faulty so it was replaced, but the new card is highly unstable with his motherboard (An ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0). This is his...

NEW Amiga announced - the Amiga X1000

I just read this after I found someone's blog about their experience with their machine... So people have paid a ridiculous amount for an old PowerPC machine running an outdated operating system and to add insult to injury, drivers aren't even ready yet for the onboard hardware. Not only...

    Toasty 2500k. Help please!

Surely then 73c is really rather hot then? As it that's 10c above what you're getting.

    Toasty 2500k. Help please!

Hmm okay. I've been looking around and have seen others with lower temps in the mid 60s. If you say it's safe enough though I'll leave it as is! :)

    Toasty 2500k. Help please!

So I've been running my machine in this state for a while now with no ill affects, but it is annoying just how hot it's running. Anyway, i5 2500k @ 4.5GHz, 1.330vcore, load line 6, all the normal jazz. Using a Corsair a50 cooler with MX-4 paste and a Corsair Carbide Air 540 case. With IBT I'm...

    Retro console and games thread

I suppose the term retro means outdated stuff and it's up to you how far back you go. The Xbox is over a decade old so I'd personally call it retro. Love my xbox btw, if you're a retro gamer I highly recommend it for some of the amazing exclusives as well as being the best way to play games from...

Oops just saw this. Yeah phatboy you're welcome to borrow it if you pay postage. I'll just send the disc in a sleeve to make it cheaper :)

    Retro console and games thread

Yup, snagged Exhumed, Quake and Duke Nukem 3D a few months ago. Very solid ports. Seriously impressive seeing Quake on the Saturn.

    Retro console and games thread

This. Shame the model two is harder to mod than the model one but it's not impossible. Glad to see you can get modchips for both now; my grey 1994 launch Jap saturn is fully loaded with a VCD card, Action Replay Max and a mod chip so I don't have to pay a ridiculous amount for Radiant Silvergun :p

Your cable management is awesome. Very nice indeed!

Will I get away with this? (Please advise!)

Awesome, I'll order some of that then. Cheers :) I've heard that this actually does work for the most part in a pinch but considering I'm using an overclocked and unlocked 6950, I'd rather not take the chance :p

Will I get away with this? (Please advise!)

Well I powered up and it's marginally warmer than normal. Ah well, I'm sure I can forget about PC gaming for the next couple of days whilst I get some replacement paste sorted out. What paste do people recommend? It's been a while since I've bought any so I'm out of the loop.

Will I get away with this? (Please advise!)

Hey all, I decided it was time to redo the TIM on my graphics card since the original stuff was coming up for three years old. Anyway, I found out after removing the old stuff that the tube I had was practically empty. Therefore all I could put on the die is shown below. Can I get away with...

    Power Mac Gi5 'Hackintosh'

Nicely done. Although the window is very tidy, I don't like it as it's the opposite of the intended aesthetic of a Mac case. Still, just personal opinion. Epic job though, probably the best Mac Pro case mod I've seen! Also, check out imgur for image hosting. Much better than photosuckit

Tried that and it worked to a degree but after a while the image just started rolling. Using a CRT TV that handles all other RGB stuff of mine like my MD and Saturn okay so not sure why that is? Did read somewhere about possibly needing to use 75Ω resistors.
