    32" 1080p for under or around £500?

I'm after a new TV for my bedroom, I've currently got an old 22" CRT TV so I'm after a full HDTV that's around 32", 1080p (I'll be streaming stuff from my EVA8000 and I'd like to be a little future proof) with a built in freeview tuner, anybody got any recommendations? Edit: A VGA port would...

NIC Bonding / Load balancing under XP?

How do you go about combining two or more NICs under XP? I'd like to combine my onboard NIC with my PCI NIC, at the moment I have both connected to my switch and they both have separate IPs, but whenever I'm transferring stuff across my network it only uses the onboard NIC rather than...

Can't detect >4 SATA devices with Abit I45C

I've since bought 2 x 4 port PCI SATA cards, installed them, disabled the on board SATA card, but I can still only get 4 out of my 5 drives detected, has anybody experienced anything like this or have any ideas?

Can't detect >4 SATA devices with Abit I45C

I'm currently trying to build a small file server using the Abit I45C board, a cheap PCI SATA card and 5 SATA drives, I've built systems using this board plenty of times and never had any problems, however I've never tried to connect more than 4 SATA devices to it. The board it's self has 4...

    Free Harddrive recovery software?

A couple of days ago one of my hard drives started making some scary sounds so I got the feeling it was about to fail so I ordered a new drive to replace it and back everything up to, I got it today and installed it, but of course when I boot up with the new hard drive installed, the dodgy drive...

    " House Rape "

So if you worked hard to buy a house, fill it up with nice stuff and then your moronic teenage daughter trashed it destroying some of your most prized possessions in the process you'd be happy with the nations tabloid readers laughing at your misfortune? Personally I'd be trying my hardest to...

    Sharpening knives

Gets my vote too :) It takes forever to reprofile or sharpen out nicks with it, but it's pretty much fool proof and great for those of us who have no free hand sharpening skills :)

    Learning To Use Weapons

Sorry I can't be much help except to tell you that shurikens (ninja stars) are illegal in the UK so unless you live outside of the UK I doubt you're going to be able to learn how to use them (unless you've owned some since before the ban).

    Coin converter

Not true, you can go up to the customer service desk and they'll give you the cash :) To be honest the 8% doesn't bother me, I have a habbit of only spending paper money so I end up with tons of change which sits in a jar on my desk gathering dust, I could spend a bit of time sorting the...

Best Multi tool Sog or Leatherman?

SOG are a great brand, but for that style of multi-tool I'd go for the leatherman or the victorinox Swiss tool. Remember, our knife laws are rather strict, if you're going to carry a knife it has to be a sub 3 inch non-locking folder (due to Harris v DPP any blade that locks is classed as a...

    Some critique please?

I created a blog to share some of my pictures with my friends and I'd really appreciate some critique on my photos (I know the blog sucks). I'm still getting the hang of my camera (EOS 350D) so I'd really apprecaite some feedback on my pictures and some tips and hints :) Cheers David

    "Knives for a pro..."

Spyderco has a range of kitchen knives at a decent price (check http://www.newgraham.com/spyderco_kitchen_knives.htm), I've never handled one, but going by the quality of the rest of the spyderco range you wont be disapointed. Frosts of sweeden also have a range of kitchen knives which I suspect...
