I've been asked to decipher this code stamped on the 12V battery in a 2005 Nissan:
omc03L4
with the assumption that it holds the manufacturing date, but I can't seem to find a date code format that this fits.
Can you extract the hidden meaning of this code..?
I reckon if you persist with Windows you will at least have the satisfaction of finding several more opportunities to repeat the above. You can really get a sulk on!
But to get over this obstacle, try downloading CCleaner (free). It has the option to clean 'old Windows installation'.

Try using Start full-screen. (Settings / Personalisation)
The layout changes to what I think you are after. You get the choice between 'pinned tiles' only or 'all apps' only.
I have two tablets with Windows 10; a Linx 10 with 2GB and it runs just fine. My cheap tablet with 1GB also runs surprisingly well.
RAM is not going to be the bottleneck!
