benny succeeded in getting a code though. i will just assume i was declined because i filled something out wrong or they knew about my fiasco at the time
I do agree all this could have been avoided. it's been abit of a rollercoaster really. my advice to msi is to learn from this. and also how i was treated and spoken to by carolyn is exactly how i would like to be spoken to as a customer. she was really sympathetic and non patronising or passive...

Well to anyone who knows about the situation with me everything has been resolved and despite a rocky patch between me and MSI the product manager has really done good by me. so i will be keeping my GT83VR 7RF which is an absolute MONSTER. MSI make great and solid products. and i will buy again...
well MSI have done an amazing job. they left me in the dark about this but it was a nice surprise my GT83 Turned up today and not only did they upgrade me to 7th gen they upgraded me to the 7RF so i now have 1080 sli and 64gb ram instead of 1070 sli 32gb ram.... i must have stared at the box in...
I'm not defending them anymore msi are absolute liers. Today for me has proved it. They pick and choose who they want to respond too and don't give a ****. In all the times I've got a response out of them I've had to threaten them and again they just feed me lies. I should have had tracking today...

Too late to refuse I'll let you know how my 1070 in sli are once I receive them this week. From my understanding though this is largely a gt72 and 73 issue not a gt83 but nothings impossible I guess
All done for me too got invoice and email confirmation should receive a tracking number soon. Weirdly it's DHL and it says dispatching from the UK is it possible my laptop is already in the country ?
