Because they have MUCH better QC and better controller/PCB circuitry than Dell. There's only a few companies in the world who manufactures panels and most of them are asian companies, like LG, Samsung, Hitachi, Sharp, Chimei,AUO and etc.
Thanks. Now with my 4th monitor, it has the worst tinting i've ever seen, almost on any background i can see the heavy green and pink tint, it splits the monitor like 60:40 green:pink :mad:

I've tried using sRGB/Adobe/Custom and on lagom's white saturation, i cannot see 252,253 and 254, and for black level 1,2 and 3 can't be seen. I've tried to play around with custom settings and brightness/contract level, nothing helps. For contrast 55 and above there is any difference if i push...
Just received the replacement U2410, The pink tint is somewhat gone but on the whole of the left edge, there's one brown/yellowish tinting, it seems like burn out marks. Sigh, i thought i can keep this unit. SRGB/Adobe RGB problem is still around.
Im quite surprised that they are able deliver the replacement the next business when compared to the first time i received the monitor and it took me 2 weeks. :rolleyes:
I've created a thread about the tint issue, http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/19297120.aspx . My tinted u2410 is from july batch too, hopefully when i send back, there's a august batch.
