Indeed. See my post from earlier ;)

    Oculus Rift

With the headset and a pair of fairly big headphones (Corsair Vengeance 1300) on too, it could quite cause problems for someone who is claustrophobic. I'm not sure if I want to know how I look to the outside world by someone walking into my office... Even more creepy if I turn the other screens...

4608 apparently. I received the shipment notification the day after it arrived though.. :/ Might be a while! :( They are however shipping from the UK rather than all direct from wherever. After attempting to use TF2 to calibrate, trying to play HL2 SP rather then TF2 MP seems a better...

    Oculus Rift

"Three different pairs of lenses are included with the development kit. The tallest set (A) is designed for 20/20 or farsighted vision. The middle set (B) is designed for moderately nearsighted users. The shortest set (C) is designed for very nearsighted users.... If you wish to wear corrective...

    Sped Me: Cheap ESXI Host

http://n40l.wikia.com/wiki/Memory There's loads of results for it if you have a look. Similar goes for the ML110 G7, works fine with 32GB (I think). Certainly more than HP say. It does look like the cashback offers have disappeared (for the moment at least), with the N54L now around too

    Sped Me: Cheap ESXI Host

The MicroServers will do 16GB ram. I use one to host my development VMs. Slowest part seemed to be the hard drive, even on a velociraptor. Changed it for an SSD and it's quite a lot quicker What protocol is he using to connect to the NAS?

    Triple monitors and a stand

I think the main problem here is the lack of movement in the arm. Moving the first part of the arm pointing further back (on the part from the centre stand) would allow for better positioning. But the stand doesn't give anywhere near enough of a range of movement. The XFX one would look to not...

    Triple monitors and a stand

From their tech support: Indeed Azcam11 seems to be fairing a lot better, but I've got a lot more space between - will upload some pictures later this afternoon. I don't think having them all flat is going to be good long term due to the ergonomics and the movement to view them

    Triple monitors and a stand

Indeed. There doesn't seem to be enough flexibility to be able to move the monitors so much. Let's see if their technical support can advise any..

    Triple monitors and a stand

It would seem in most cases to have them line up side to side, they need to be pretty flat against. There doesn't seem to be enough movement in the arms (rotates around the centre pole, can also rotate 10 degrees at the join point). There's then 20 degrees of tilt and swivel. To make it...

    Wheat beer

Need to start with an almost horizontal glass. It's very much an art. Nice to see Erdinger getting good feedback. Shame it's so expensive over here. When I end up on the continent I end up bringing 4-5 crates back of it for my dad. 16.99 euros for 20. 0.8495 euros each, works out as...

    Triple monitors and a stand

I'm nearly there, I think. The question is going to be how OCD/anal I get trying to get them into align. Moving each monitor individually vertically is slightly annoying, you've got to push it up on the bracket, then change the forwards/backwards tilt to counteract the height change. There's...

    Triple monitors and a stand

Success! This one came with all the right parts, and I now have all 3 monitors on one stand, on the floor.. Took about 10 minutes to do most of the stand setup. Would've been useful to have 2 people when lifting the monitors into place.. Lack of weight distribution makes it tip over :D...

Well, but only using 2 monitors. I could hook my laptop upto the other one to utterly confuse myself... Not going to have a fully working setup till after the 20th March - going to pick the cards up stateside and bring them back with me (actually did this for my i7 980, GTX580 and the 24GB...
