    Lian Li O11 Air Mini

So that's what I am thinking here.. Its quite a snug fit into a 50cm wide cabinet, and even the power plug routing will require a cut in the side/back. I deliberately have lots of space at the top so hopefully that would not get things too hot? My brother in law has his case pretty much behind...

    China trip..

Yes, business trip. Work phone is an oldie Apple 7 but my main is already sending all stuff back to China being Huawei Our IT is pretty solid though but will check anyway, thanks.

Radiators required for a 13900K build.

Are you bound by a case size at all? Is this Mini or Air Mini? Some thinner rads are now very capable vs a lot thicker stuff. If you like quiet worth going thin rads with low rpm fans and you'll likely to be OK with 2x 280s, maybe need to add one more 240. Thats the setup I am eying for 2080ti...

    China trip..

Hi, I'm travelling to China and Taiwan in June but likely light and on a busy schedule. Any suggestions what may be a lot cheaper and worth bringing back? I'm thinking Huawei watch for example but struggling to check China pricing to see difference. Also, unlikely to have time to actually go to...

    14th Gen "Raptor Lake Refresh"

Has there been more progress with this whole crashing issue? Im contemplating upgrade and this has thrown me off a fair bit.. Seems only Unreal Engine games though, or is that not correct?

Identifying a good DisplayPort 1.4a cable?

Isn't this just a case of buying good quality one that is not one of the cheapest you can find? Had my fair share of DP cable issues, but it was usually cheap and chearful stuff that simply was not well made (mechanically).

DRAM Light on. PC wont post.

Is the ram on the approved list for your mobo?

    Lian Li O11 Air Mini

That is one cool looking build! Thanks for sharing it You're right though - I had to re-check, its only 240 or 280s max, I think you can just about fit 3x 120 fans at the top but that's about it. It does look like I may have to go to mATX to use a thick rad at the top.

Bare LED to illuminate logo in new case

Judging by your question you dont know exactly how LEDs work. Start by finding the white LED you want, based on its spec (voltage and current) you than need to get a suitable resistor to ensure it doesn't blow up after powering (although white ones are harder to do this with). Wire it up...

    Lian Li O11 Air Mini

Resurrecting this one from the depths ;) Would be really curious what rad configs people went with this case, especially thicker ones. I need to find a replacement for my 200mm Phobya and if space allows Im thinking top front and bottom rads, otherwise, at least thick top (HL GTX 240) and a 360...

    19/13mm fittings popularity?

Is it just me, or is the 19/13m size tubing and fittings much less common? I had been using it what seems like forever but it's now really hard to come by some on MM.. Any reason for this?

    Quiet 12~14TB HDD?

Great, but from your previous experience of 6-8tb ones I would say you would hardly hear most drives the 12TB looked like quietest of all

Any custom water block builders nowadays?

How about design your own (based on something existing) and make 1 off? Plenty of 'machining brokers' around who would sub this out to China for sensible money.

    3d printer for small components?

There are 3d printing companies that do MOV service so interesting you went ahead to purchase the printer instead of giving them a go. Resin printing is a bit more steep learning curve for someone just starting with 3d printing in general so let us know how you get on. What sort of properties...

    Quiet 12~14TB HDD?

So WD actually specify acoustics, but they don't state at what distance, so could assume at 1m https://documents.westerndigital.com/content/dam/doc-library/en_us/assets/public/western-digital/product/internal-drives/wd-red-plus-hdd/product-brief-western-digital-wd-red-plus-hdd.pdf 12TB and 14TB...

    Quiet 12~14TB HDD?

What do you consider quiet? Is it about some specific noises HDDs make that you don't like? How is rest of the Pc cooled (based on what you wrote I assume you are planning to use NAS drive in a PC?)?

    Arctic Freezer III now available.....

I think what I am most surprised about is they made it only work with their frame and you don't even get another option.

    Arctic Freezer III now available.....

I still remain unimpressed. I think they shot themselves in the foot with the frame that doesnt perform as good as other alternatives and they had all the control over the design to make it happen.
