With room for a standard ATM board. I made the mistake of wanting a card for Xmas gaming so bought a 3060ti in a rush and thought id put it all together later in the year with a newer graphics card.
I like Lian Li, but would need one that offers the nice sliding ssd slots with rubber bungs so...
I had covid a few weeks back, it was icey, thought id scraped sufficient ice off - pulled out of my 3.5 metre wide drive and managed to scrape the door and wing :( . Im usually really good with spatial awareness.
Will sort an image when home from work. I couldnt believe it wouldnt work fit, bought one of those riser things, tightening it broke the rear pci slot screw rack. Its a bit fubared, the gpu is floating around . I surprised its not not swung and shorted at somepoint. My worst build to date...
I've a Lian Li PC-A71FB, Black, Full Tower Aluminum Case with frontal Door, which ive basically borked together with zip ties holding my graphics card out as im using a gpu right angle riser due to the graphics card not fitting over the nvme drive on my Asus ROG Maximus XIII Hero (Socket LGA...
I never knew such a thing existed ! Do you have any recommendations - they all seem to be quite long. Just like a step would be good if such a thing exists.
Im using an old Lian Li server tower and am finding the build a bit more difficult than i ever remember builds being. 1st issue is my h100i not fitting so having to do some engineering to get that to fit. Now my graphics card (980ti) wont fit as the motherboard (ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII APEX LGA...
then my lianli case sis going to need the dremel taking too it, it only has space for 1 120mm exhaust fan, ill zip tie it about 3 inches from the top of the case (spot weld a metal plate a few inches in front of it and have a nice powerful 120mm fan at the back taking out that hot air).
Its a lian li server case, - well it seems to be - its 13 years old so i sort of forgot the model. Its got one space for a fan out back and then alloy above, then another slot for additional exhaust.
PC uses - gaming, some work related stuff like compiling java and simulations / data crunching...
So i was looking at the overclocked bundles OCUK do and they look great, but the rear end of my LianLi case will only accept one large fan for water cooling, ive got a corsair h80-i on there at the moment and my motherboards showing a cpu light which suggests that the cpu is fxxxkd and had its...
Slots connected, i rushed to get it apart as something wasn't working, usually it's north / Southport goo dried out and over heating. Out comes wires and graphics card and paste it up. Go to put it back together and there's two ATX sockets near cpu. There both 8 socket connectors and from my...
haha, must wear my glasses.. thought it say tb.
Also will my h80i corsair cooler work on this socket? the old socket it ran on was 1366 or do i need a new cooler too?!
Cheers, and whys that samsung intel nvme so cheap comparerd to others? I thought they were good - seem to be at bottom of price list? Also will my AIO H80 fit from my current 1366 chipset?
Cheers
