I'm working through my first play through. I'm only playing this because my son wanted to so we are running through it together. Not really my cup of tea but I will admit that its been fun so far. The only downside is when my son (in the middle of a boss battle) will just take off to hit the can...
I bought a silent mouse at Amazon back in 2017 for work. It has worked wonderfully for years and is silent. It is not a gaming mouse but its been fantastic. It gets used 8+ hours a day give or take and has been going strong for nearly 4 years now...
My Rift S definitely isn't one of the higher resolution headsets for sure. I have not tried VR No Mans Sky, (I can babrely stomach the standard version of that game) but I do play Subnautica in VR. That one is a very cool VR experience.
Thanks! At one time there were a lot more but I started selling them off. I just don't see the need to have so many any longer but I can't bring myself to sell the rest.
Without a doubt a BIG step up from Koss's offering. My favorite headphones are my STAX but I use the Koss headphones more than anything as my cheapo (I don't care if I drop them) cans. Decent sounding cans made better by custom cushions and a good amp.
PC USB out to:

Wyred 4 Sound W4S STP-SE Preamp
Mjolnir Audio Octave III
Monoprice THX AAA 887
La Figaro 339
I have a few more headphone amps but they are on the shelf not being used at this time, along with a couple more DACs and such.
Stax SR-L700mkII
Koss ESP-95X electrostatic
Audeze LCD2 Rev. 2F
Grado GS1000
Grado SR325is
NAD VISO HP50
Sony MDR-XB700
I also have 6 pair of headsets...
LOL and that is where you and others go wrong! You went and listened to superior speakers!! Anytime we do that then upgrading does become a need. haha Its our nature I believe. I go out of my way to avoid listening to higher end speakers for this very reason. I know what I have makes me happy...
I own the Harmony 600 and One. The 600 gets the most use as the battery lasts forever. The one is rechargeable, does more etc but I find I prefer the 600.
If you are currently happy with the range of your Yamaha speakers, I see no reason to upgrade. I usually tell friends to first invest in their speakers and build around them. A good set of speakers can last you a life time...maybe even a couple of life times.
I bought my Infinity Betas in 2008...
It's sad to hear about this but Other than the HD600-650 they don't offer much IMO. They have some good pro headphones for office work and such and I think the HD600 and many of their older past headphones were fantastic. The HD700 and HD800 though i did not like at all. I think i will go order...
@foster grant I had a set of HD600 cans for a couple of years. I eventually sold them but I must say they were sweet sounding headphones. I have a really cool custom made OTL amp that just paired so well with the HD600. So well in fact that I may just buy another set of those cans.
I run USB out of my PC to the following equipment:
Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2
Wyred 4 Sound W4S STP-SE Preamp
Mjolnir Audio Octave III (Electrostatic)
Monoprice THX AAA 887
La Figaro 339
I own an assortment of headphones and will not list them all but my two main go to daily sets is my Koss ESP-95X...
I know this is too late but for surround duties I use polk audio owm3's. (Sides and rear). Though my receiver supports atmos I don't care to run it myself.
That would be Poppy I Disagree. My daughter is a big fan and introduced me to her. She started off as a Pop singer but has delved into a Rock/ techno/ Nu metal sound that I really dig.
