    I just don't get it

I've used pretty much every panel in existence through the years - CRT, VA, IPS, TN, mini LED VA (Samsung Neo G9). Have also got with me right now a Sony 65" Mini LED tv, also a Sony 77" OLED. An Epson projector also. Best picture quality? Overall it depends, but for actual picture quality I'd...

World first QD-OLED monitor from Dell and Samsung (34 inch Ultrawide 175hz)

I do miss the extra width of the 34", it's taking some getting used to the height of this display but it's just so much sharper and clearer. Perfect PPI for me, everything looks so crystal clean. FYI I can't tell the difference between 8 bit and 10 bit, but I am keeping it at 10 bit as why not...

    Alienware announces the AW2725DF and AW3225QF (worlds first 4k 240hz and worlds first 1440p 360hz QD-OLED monitors - launches January 2024)

Certainly will do, I'll be flicking between both pretty regularly. Could really do with a new gpu for this bad boy but the ones that would do it justice are over £1k.

Just run the Windows HDR calibration and I can hit a peak of 500 nits at the moment. Is that a known bug or have I missed something?

Yep :). Need to try out some rpg games and see how I find it compared to the 34", still got that in my other rig. Just done the firmware upgrade as it's not shipped with M2B102. Need to move my rtx 3080 from my other pc into this one for some proper gaming, don't think a 2060 is going to cut...

Strange, must be rushing these out ASAP. First impressions are good, doesn't look like the bubble wrap has left many, if any, marks. The sharpness is an immediate upgrade. It is a bit of a shock going from ultra wide back to 16:9, but over the next few days I'm expecting I'll adjust to that ok.

Dell have been head and shoulders above every other company for returns in my experience, and that's going back to the days of the dell 2408wfp (loved that one). No quibble returns with replacements sent out before you having to send yours back.

Still rocking a 3080 10gb, hoping it will be ok with some DLSS wizardry and some settings turned down.

That's what I'll be moving from, hoping I won't miss the extra width the 34 provides but I do have a neo g9 in my second setup.

    Aienware 32" 4k and 27" 360hz

Feb 28th for me. That's a good point, certainly for (most) gaming 21:9 is better imo.
