I'm looking for a new 25" monitor and am struggling to find any recent comparison reviews online so was hoping someone might be able to advise on here.
It will be used for gaming, mostly MMOs and ARPGs, and needs to have standard VESA mounting option. G-Sync would be nice but not an absolute...
I've just ported my setup into an R6 from my old Corsair 800D. It's very quiet. I have an OC'd i7 with a huge dual fan Noctua cooler and 140mm case fans that come with it and I am very happy with the results.
Thinking of getting a Fractal Design Define R6 and see that it comes with 3 Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans. I was thinking of swapping those for 3 Noctua NF-A14 Chromax.Black.Swap fans instead as they look like they'll push more air with lower noise levels.
Is it worth swapping those fans or not? I plan...
I'm hoping to get some advice on a new case.
I'm currently using a Corsair 800D which I bought when I did my water cooled build. I've since gone back to air cooling as the upkeep of a wc system is just too much for me now with other commitments.
New case needs to fit the following major...

If your card is the Zotac GeForce GTX 780 Ti OC 3GB GDDR5 (ZT-70505-10P/ZT-70506-10P) then according to XSPC's cooling configurator the EX-FC780 GTX Ti waterblocks should fit.
So main components could be:
YOUR BASKET
1 x XSPC AX360 Triple Fan Radiator (Black) £89.99
1 x EK Water Blocks...
I have a 4770k and SLI 7950 and I've used a 360, a 240 and a 120 which seems to be plenty.
I think general consensus is 240 for CPU, 120 for each GPU plus an additional 120.
Why are you using two pumps and 2 reservoirs in your loop? Those components don't need it tbh.
Here's an image of mine, if that helps:
The bottom outlet on the rad is the return to the res/pump and I have a T connector with some tubing and a valve for draining my loop.
Water temps don't vary by more than 1 or 2 degrees throughout the whole loop so I don't think you'd notice the difference between gpu->memory or memory-gpu on that card.
To the best of my knowledge flow is the same as temps in your loop, i.e. it doesn't change by very much at all throughout the loop.
Not familiar with that card but if the block is like all the others then flow direction shouldn't matter at all.
I don't see a pump for that X-RES. You know the pump is not included with that?
You'd need something like the XSPC D5 Vario
You also mentioned wanting it red so perhaps these Monsoon fittings?
Depending on your layout you might also want some 90 degree fittings?
The 360 rad is more...
+1
Unless you've got £800 to waste nothing really out there to beat 7950 xfire, especially for a £100 upgrade. I expect I shall still be running mine in 9-12 months.
With that Raystorm block make sure you check, double check and triple check the in/out orientation because once you've connected it up it's a pain to change it, especially if you're using rigid tubing.
I've got the raystorm in mine (awesome kit!) and I was so paranoid I took about 45 minutes...
Are those 240 rads? If you're thinking of overclocking that lot you might want to think about more rad space.
Those new chips run hot when oc'd so you'll want decent cooling and with 2 GTX 980s 480 rad might not be enough.
I have that same motherboard under water and my loop's been running for about 10 months.
I'll be flushing my system in a couple of weeks (adding another rad and changing res) so I'll be able to have a good inspection then but I've not seen any issues at all.
I used Mayhems X1 in my loop which...
Yeah, should work then :)
And yes I agree, the Corsair cases are not ideal for wc, too much modding required to get things to fit without looking like a mess!
I'm about to replace my XSPC dual bay res with an EK-D5 X-RES and wanted to know if the normally unused inlet port could be used as a drain port?
I've currently got a load of additional tubing in my loop to accommodate a drain port which (to my eyes at least) looks ugly, so I wanted to replace...
