@Demon LOl he wont damage his cpu with that voltage and ofcourse you will passed any stress test with those vcore :) eveb you let your machine stressing your CPU 24Hrs will not reach 70 or over. :)

try to play with the ram sockets though try to put the RAM separate like 1 is on the 1st socket then 2 on the 3rd socket. if not work then call where you got the rams and let them diagnose it.

yes around 60c whilst in game, my current speed fan is still @ stock 50% i believe. just scares me when i saw my temp whilst running furmark. thank you guys for clearing this for me. i wish there will be a better cooling solution for vga's coz people said sycthe vga cooler is not that great...

just wanted to know if this is a right idle temp for 5870 running @ idle with 38-40c? i tried to stress test it with furmark and it hit 86c i have no with wats with this. but if someone can explain something that would be good. thank you.

one of them is right, your having BSOD because of bad Ocing one of the reason is the vcore if its wrong even though it passed linx, prime95 you'll still get BSOD at some point. under voltage of cpu could cause the cpu not stable and cause BSOD. if you have a nice cooling then why not increase...

more reasonable is dont upgrade your card if its not really necessary to upgrade it, if the card can still handle the games then stick with it. Yet 5970 is a powerful card tbh but i dont know compare to fermi but if nvidia fermi is cost more or watsoever the card then stick with your current card.

lol fermi will be released sometimes in March :) thats what other people say but they might release some low/mid-end card fermi version for some tests or watsoever.

some of 5870 has gone drop of their price but Powercolour seems gone high instead I wonder whats with this card compare to others O_o. OC should drop more haha ive seen many site that their 5870 has really gone drop. lolz
