I went from a Vega 56 to a 3060ti fe and am very happy with the upgrade.

I paid the extra couple of quid for Saturday delivery and my 3060ti arrived today. Very happy with it :)

It says your average gpu frequency was 536 mhz, looks like the gpu is the problem. Maybe a power issue and it's not getting enough power?

I think it looks like someone has been tinkering with the bios and you'll have to flash it back to a stock one. It didn't come from a miner did it?

Can we see pictures of the card and the gpuz screenshot? Someone has possibly flashed a dodgy bios onto it maybe.

actually it shouldn't matter, switch on the laptop and press del a few times and it should go into the bios, wait a bit so its made it into the bios, then press f9 and enter, wait a second then press f10 and enter. That should reset the bios to optimized defaults but you'll be doing it blind so...

There are loads of videos on youtube of people running i7 950's with various graphics cards like gtx 970, rx 470/570/580 and they are getting a pretty solid above 60 fps experience with it in warzone at 1080p I think upgrading to 12gb of ram and trying to find a decent priced midrange card...

The 180w brick for my A15 gets toasty, I think it's normal for high power bricks.

Try a usb keyboard would be the next step.

For what you are going to be using it for any decent ssd will be fine. And most ssd's nowadays are 7mm so unless your laptop has a weird caddy they should all fit.

I’ve just had a look at ours and there is indeed more flex around the # key area than anywhere else on the keyboard. it’s not excessive though and I’m not worried about it on ours.

i'll try it tomorrow and see. Not sure of the cooling layout of the 1660ti model as i'm sure it will be different to the 1650 model though and may make a difference.

There is a small amount of flex in the keyboard of the one in my work, my A15 has a bit of flex also, most gaming laptops i have tried all have a bit of flex unless they have a metal frame. The 2.5" drive bay is located near the enter key so if it is empty maybe that could be why there is flex...

We have the 4600h and gtx 1650 version of the HP in the work and use it for video and photo editing for our social media pages and its been great so far, i'm sure the higher specced one will be nice also.

Out of those 2 i would say if there is £100 or more in price difference then go with the hp.
