You can do best of both - I can control independently through Hue Hub or HA. It integrates so seamlessly it is childs play (and useful to have both options available IMHO).
I use Hue for lights so haven't needed ZigBee. I prefer my hybrid setup - hue for lights, hive for energy, the rest are internet connected but can locally communicate with HA (govee, Reolink).
The pi are underpowered until you get to second hand NUC money. I bought a cheap HP till computer from members market. Unsure on power but it isn't a lot. I did have a virtual box vm but Bluetooth was garbage
Get rid of the opening apology sentence and get rid of the specialist reference in bullet 3. Rephrase it to just say elements. They are the specialists after all, don't give them a thread to pull.
You don't have to do any automation with HA. But it has certainly decommissioned like 20 other apps (hue, Peugeot, bright, Reolink, Tapo, govee to name a few).
Any ideas on a good container/dispenser for 3 in 1 oil? I managed to snap the lid off of the tub and it's 80% full.

Also did a manly visit to BAPP to collect 30 rods, 60 plates and 150 nuts. Woopa
If you don't need it real time you can download it in Excel from their home page; that's how I crunch it. I bought the app @200sols posted earlier but refunded it after 30 secs of going "ahh ha"
Yeah a colleague had one and I remember it being a nice place to be. There should be a bunch on the market given they were all sold as BIK fiddles. Iirc it is just a 320 with electric so don't let the '30' charm you.
