    Going to Vietnam! Any tips?

Not too sure if someone has already mentioned this or not. But the traffic is crazy. The volume of bikes is mental. Word of advice but if you're going to Hanoi and if you want to cross a road, don't expect the traffic (mainly mopeds and small motorbikes) to stop for you at zebra crossings, red...

Feedback on my new Apex Legends YT channel please.

Hi Clockers. I'm looking for some feedback on my new channel. I compile the best bits from Twitch at the min, but hoping for people to submit their own clips in the future. I've uploaded 5 videos now and I'm getting better. The first 3 weren't very good. They had no background music and the...

Advice for starting a food blog

Ah good stuff. What's the link, I wouldn't mind taking a look. From what I can tell, you don't get an audience easy. It takes years of consistency and the audience builds over time (providing you have good content) I've watched a few YouTube vids on the subject. But the videos I've watched is...

Advice for starting a food blog

Hi Clockers. As the title suggests - I'm thinking of starting a food blog. Primarily just as a hobby in my spare time, but it would be great if this could make money in the future. I'm not a pro, but I have a real passion for food and can spend hours watching TV shows and YouTube vids on the...

    Big ol' Burger Comparison Thread

Think you are mate. Brioche Buns are awesome. I think the sweet, buttery taste goes well with juiciness of the burger. But that's just my preference.

    Big ol' Burger Comparison Thread

I love making my own Burgers. I have tried 5 Guys, they're pretty tasty, but the cost leaves you with a bit of sick in your mouth. In true Blue Peter style "Here's one I made earlier". https://www.instagram.com/p/Bimy5U9B9B-/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Spec me a Black Friday TV and Sound bar deal

Hi Clockers I'm in the market for a new TV (at last) Currently, I have a very old 50" LG Plasma. It must be at least 12 years old :-/ Decided to bite the bullet and upgrade during Black Friday. My budget is roughly £500/600 and I would like a minimum of 55". I'd mainly be using for Movies and...

Show Off Your Dish (Picture Thread) (Rules added)

Ah fair enough. I'm sure I could handle the starter and the main. But deserts ain't my thing. I don't like measuring ingredients. haha

That looks well nice. Is all of that home made? If so, spectacular effort to do all of that for a Sunday lunch :-)

    Anyone opened a Deli?

Yeah, I think you're right. There are a few affluent areas in my town. And quite a few more in and around the local area. I'll just have to keep an eye out for decent rental properties. In the mean time, I'll do a bit more research. cheers

    Anyone opened a Deli?

That's a very good point. I know supermarkets are getting in some very good produce from around Europe and around the UK and are putting a lot of small businesses out of business. I suppose, that is something to bare in mind. However, I wasn't going to rely on those products soaley. I think...

    Anyone opened a Deli?

Thanks for the comments so far. As well as tasty sandwiches, bagels etc etc. Rather than just doing the norm, I was thinking about selling meats, cheeses, wine and selected beers. I was in the South of France last year and their Delis are unreal. Full of top quality produce. So I was thinking...

    Anyone opened a Deli?

As the title suggests really. A guy at work is opening one with his wife, and I thought I'd ask you guys. What were your costs. Did you meet your predicted turnover. What products fly off the shelves? Thanks Gary

To create a website or to buy one?

If I were in your shoes - I'd go WordPress. Make sure you get the 'self hosted' option when picking a host (GoDaddy, Host Gator etc) This means you develop the site from scratch and have more control than the 'hosted' option. Someone mentioned Theme Forrest. That's a great place to start. You...

To create a website or to buy one?

I second that. It's a whole different game now. I'd stay away from WIX. Your site will be full of adds if you get their free product, plus their support is shocking. No telephone number to call if things hit the fan. Never used Shopify, but from what I can see their stuff looks OK. Depending on...

Nice. That pic on the box is of Roseberry topping. Just a stones throw away from me. I really should take the SLR out over that way this Spring :)

    Cross-platform mobile development frameworks?

I'd never heard of Xamarin before. I checked them out, great idea. However, don't you think its a little ironic that on their Pricing page, the text is over layed on top of each other (IE11) but on Edge it's fine. Just saying :)
