Its so weird that it is so intermittent, sometime after boot the screen flickers/dims slightly for a few mins then is fine for the rest of the day. I would have thought if it was something not connected right it would happen all the time?
Will give some of these things a try though, thanks.
Hey everyone, could really use some help on a really weird issue since changing my PC case.
Seemingly since I moved all my parts into their new home I have started to encounter a random screen flicker, sometimes shortly after Windows boots or sometimes a little while after. It is really hard...
Used to be in the living room for many years, actually quite liked at as it seemed more 'social'.
Since working from home more though it made more sense to have a proper office/man cave so that's what I now have. Not sure I would go back :)
The Greenlight fee was $100 for as many games as you wanted to submit but you still had to get through the 'system' to get your game on sale so there was some gate keeping going on (even if not great) but this new system means $100 gets you straight access to release what you want. $100 really...
The mobile companion app is useful for this I found.
Really enjoying this, it looks amazing and plays really well. The WW1 setting is so refreshing after all the modern/future day games we have had over the last few years.
WiZZyWiGG on Origin.
So looking forward to getting stuck in with this. Kind of wish I had stumped up the cash to play early but nevermind.
WiZZyWiGG in Xbox Live if people need extra Horde mode fodder!
In the beta if you fly through the 'flares' of these stars it gives you a temp (I think?) FSD boost. Currently though its a bit bugged, pretty sure FD said it should only be a 25% boost. Still nice though.
Yeah, I do hate the 'wait for the new things to come'.. there is always new things, I just want some new shiny stuff damn it! :)
It does seem in this instance though it makes sense.
Thanks all, I will resist the 1070 I had my eye on for now!
Thanks all, very helpful so far.
I am presuming (maybe wrongly?) that a CPU upgrade would be a decent idea anyway, this chipset seems pretty old now? However it seems wise to see what the new AMD and Intel offerings are like once they come out as they don't seem far away.
The less than 60fps...
I had completely missed what was going on in CPU land so have just been trying to catch up, it would seem like waiting a bit longer is probably a good option.
Ideally I would want this (fairly pricey) upgrade to last me a good few years.
