I bought the MHW-3Bomber scales about a month ago. Not the mini though, as I use them for weighing food stuffs when cooking, too. I like them, they were (relatively) cheap and perform better than the Brewista Mk2 scales I had been using before.
Only if you aren't very good. I've used mine every day for 9 years now and it was only uneven/spitting for the first week or so to get things good. If it's "going everywhere" your distribution, tamp, or dare I say.. use of a shower screen mesh are poor. :p
Replaced the burrs on my ~9 year old mazzer mini this morning. Two (well, three) points of interest:

Bought the scales. Like them. Better than brewista. More responsive and the "smart" functionality is a little er... smarter. Easier to keep clean, too.
If they float that means poor insulation, surely? I thought the whole point of the double-wall being sealed is because they are under negative pressure?
Anyone using/used MHW-3Bomber gear? I'm intrigued by their fully covered needle distribution tool but it's pricey, and as of 3 minutes ago where I dropped my brewista scales, their scales.

That's from before I used the citric acid. I have to empty the tank to then fill it. For fun I left the cafetierre on the side to settle, and then dropped a tablespoon of crystals into it to see what happens. Pics below.
