That does look uncannily like the mhw-3bomber.

spout* :p I bought the MHW-3Bomber scales about a month ago. Not the mini though, as I use them for weighing food stuffs when cooking, too. I like them, they were (relatively) cheap and perform better than the Brewista Mk2 scales I had been using before.

Only if you aren't very good. I've used mine every day for 9 years now and it was only uneven/spitting for the first week or so to get things good. If it's "going everywhere" your distribution, tamp, or dare I say.. use of a shower screen mesh are poor. :p

That thin, solid stream, dead-center of the PF, is your panacea. You'll start with the equivalent of someone blowing a raspberry in your face, though.

Replaced the burrs on my ~9 year old mazzer mini this morning. Two (well, three) points of interest: Firstly, they shipped face-to-face with an unsecured plastic shim between them, which means they have inevitably slipped out of position and there are tiny chip marks in the burrs where they...

Bought the scales. Like them. Better than brewista. More responsive and the "smart" functionality is a little er... smarter. Easier to keep clean, too.

If they float that means poor insulation, surely? I thought the whole point of the double-wall being sealed is because they are under negative pressure?

Anyone using/used MHW-3Bomber gear? I'm intrigued by their fully covered needle distribution tool but it's pricey, and as of 3 minutes ago where I dropped my brewista scales, their scales. https://www.mhw3bomber.com

That's from before I used the citric acid. I have to empty the tank to then fill it. For fun I left the cafetierre on the side to settle, and then dropped a tablespoon of crystals into it to see what happens. Pics below. Settled: 30 mins after mixing citric acid in:

Critic acid. Bulk buy crystals from Amazon. Think I bought a 2.5kg bag for about £10 3 years ago which is just about to run out. I use 2 or 3 tablespoons (depending how bad it is, today is a 3 spooner..) in 2 litres of water which is enough to clear out the boiler and flush the grouphead for a...
