Just got my NEC, it's got one dead pixel and after seeing 16:9 I think maybe 16:10 would be better. Should I send it back and get the HP?

A budget of £300, is this best with it being IPS? Anyone know how NEC are for if you get a dead pixel?

thnks pcm2. I notice they're both LED, would you say that's best for graphic design work? I know the F2380M has a pva screen which I heard is better than a TN screen for design work. Is LED even better?

Can anyone find the F2380M for sale in the UK? and anybody happen to know what Samsung are like if you have a dead pixel? Or any alternatives I could get? Monitor is mainly for graphic design and text work. thanks!

thanks andi, I'll have to give that one some thought! really like the look of the F2380M, good ergonomics too What's your opinion of the Samsung XL2370? Is LED better or worse for use as a monitor?

that looks good so is CPVA better than TN? for colors etc (everything except response time)

teddy how do you change the settings in the service screen to play those files? is it hard? Is the screen as good as something like a LG W2361V to use as a monitor? As I need one but I don't want to sacrifice the quality for web design and graphics just for freeview and speakers.
