MacBook Air Mid 2012 Mojave Slow Wi-Fi Help Needed

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone on here might be able to help me, please? I have an old MacBook Air, mid-2012 model, which has been a champ and is still fine for internet and light productivity use. Recently however my Wi-Fi speed is very slow. For example, my mac gives me around 1-4 Mbps...

Finally got myself an Analogue Super NT :) - I have to say it is a lovely bit of gaming kit!

A few recent pickups, finally a nice boxed contra that was a decent price. I got the Hyperkin Cadet new for only £5.00, not a bad controller but I decided swap out the d-pad with a red one. Looking forward to trying the new Unibios out over the weekend.

Yes also an option :) Just a preference to use another cart, my Mega Memory was sold as faulty but it does load the main menu (when passed through my game genie). What I might do is open up my game boy and get a cheap button as you suggest and test the mega memory card first before deciding on...

I am in need of a cheap method to backup my original game boy game saves. I don't really want to go down the route of expensive cart readers particularly as I use a Mac and software seems hit and miss for the OS. I only own the original DMG and don't really want to buy a colour or pocket console...

I bought one of these recently: http://www.brookaccessory.com/detail/44237976/ https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/brook-ps3-ps4-to-ps2-controller-adapter.html With firmware 1.2 installed it will work on the PS1. I have used my Dual Shock 4 via bluetooth with it perfectly :) Arcade Shock...

CEX can have some reasonable deals, I keep an eye on the PS3 section for games that I missed out on during "the day". A pro tip to remove those horrible labels: use a hair dryer on them and they lift right up with no marks to the cases ;)

I completely forgot I pre-ordered this back in July until I got an email from Amazon the other day, I'm so glad I did since it is sold out everywhere and scalpers are having a field day at the moment. Sadly Amazon didn't have the spare controllers up at the time so I will have to wait until they...

Here are some of my retro gaming pickups from the past couple of months, a nice varied selection I think. I highly recommend the 8-bitdo controllers and receivers!

I'm starting to have the itch to buy a new system. I'm really trying to tell myself no more just get a few more games for what I have and call it a day but I fancy some more hardware in my relatively small collection. I sold all my PAL stuff off (excluding the Dreamcast as it supports 60hz/VGA)...

I have pre-ordered the NES Mini on Amazon, plenty of time to cancel if I change my mind. Being an official Nintendo product I expect this to sell out over Christmas pretty quickly. My main concern with this is will it have crappy 50Hz PAL ROMS or proper 60Hz ones? Basically this is a deal...

Well I'm sure to feel gutted or relived I saved some money. I was eying up a boxed minty US SNES Mini on eBay from a UK seller for £160 but missed out as I couldn't deicide if I wanted it or not. The thing is I bought a loose one 2 years ago and RGB modded it so don't really need another snes...

I can speak for the mega drive in detail but MUSHA is meant to be amazing, on the DC front you really are spoiled for choice. There are so many perfect arcade ports to choose from at least in Japanese format but you can just get an import disc like Blaze Exploder and play gems such as Ikaruga...

Nice Dreamcast posts there, I'm hopping to get mine out again soon after being packed away for the past 12 months. The crazy thing is I've been picking up the odd game here and there for it throughout the year.......I really need to play them. I have one of those Toro VGA boxes on the way so...

Nice, I have been thinking of one of those idea quad boxes for my retro consoles as well. My TV unit is rubbish for top loading CD or cartridge consoles as there isn't enough height. Did you spray the backing MDF black yourself or did it come pre painted? Thanks

I can confirm these third-party ones are excellent, I bought two recently and they are top notch!

I saw some of these as well, I'm not so sure myself I was kind of tempted for a Castlevania Bloodlines since an original US Genesis one is around £80.00 (boxed) that said I class these more as boots than quality reproductions or community releases of beta/lost games. The other thing I worry...
