    Bomber Crew

I cant play it - no invert Y axis when tagging makes fast reaction to fighters near impossible. Such a sweet game but boils my brain. I'm just not wired that way. Refunding. Will buy again if/when they patch in invert Y axis.

What was your first online Multiplayer game?

Dabbled for a while in the late 90s but properly got into Return to Castle Wolfenstein for a year and then heavily in to BF1942 which I still play today. Also was in a clan competitively against =XDC= in Enemy Territory Quake Wars for a while :) I seem to remember that you consistently spanked...

Guitar Effects/ Amp nerds in here ?

You want to play your guitar without offending the neighbours. I may get shot for saying this, but use your computer. Software amps have come on exponentially. You can use your effects pedal combi's, plug them into your computer and use headphones. Look at Scuffham S-Gear...

Alien 5...Neil Blomkamp helmed Alien movie

I don't find it boring at all. I like it a lot. Apart from the scene where she goes into the basement with a stick and says "just do what you do". That scene makes me cringe lol. If I could buy a new version with just that scene cut I probably would. Hehe.

Alien 5...Neil Blomkamp helmed Alien movie

I seem to be the only person in the world that actually likes Alien 3. Watched it plenty of times and still enjoy it to this day. 4 on other hand can kiss my derriere...

Replacing a shower - Cabin or not?

Hey this is exactly what I am after. Multipanel bonded to the wall and away we go. I can do this for 120 quid and re-use the existing shower tray etc. Perfect. Thank you OCUK H&G.

Replacing a shower - Cabin or not?

Thanks for the comments Matt. I was maintaining the grout, the leak was occurring because the water pipe penetrations in the tile were too large and had not been sealed. There were large valleys in the plasterboard where the water had been running down for 5 years. This was hidden behind a...

Replacing a shower - Cabin or not?

Aquapanel - right-oh. Thanks. How do you tank the area? Just 1000g polythene and lap it up the walls? right - looking at painted tanking membrane now...

Replacing a shower - Cabin or not?

True that. I've been right through the installation video and its pretty straightforward really. Liberal mastic throughout and it should be good. I'm just wondering what the pro's and cons are as I have no experience of them. I'm quite happy to box the existing back in again and tile, just...

Replacing a shower - Cabin or not?

5 years since I tore my house apart and rebuilt it the shower is leaking big time. Spent time stripping sealant, resealing etc - sticking plaster repairs - until for the last week when we have a shower upstairs a puddle forms on the kitchen sideboard (worryingly dribbling out from a plug socket...

What game in history have you played the most?

    1. Eve Online - stuck to that for the best part of 3 years constantly) 2. Frontier Elite 2 on the Amiga in the 90's - got as far as was possible pretty much... 3. Enemy Territory Quake Wars when I was competitively clanning. Probably in that order. Other notables are Rome Total War (the...

No not at all, thanks for taking the time. Learned something there too, thanks again. Just listening through your stuff now. Will edit in... [edit] Wow we have a very different approach to mixing. I like to keep things tight, up front and close to the face, only touches of reverb, only gentle...

Haha that is fantastic! Don't generally get on with thrash, but that's musical thrash. The guitar solo's are great. Hardcore early Faith No More springs to mind. Rahhh MOOORRE KICK DRUMMMMM! *runs about smashing stuff up

The 'Show Your Creative Side' thread

I would really like to help you out with this one even if its just pointing you in the right direction to get the right sounds in the track. Please do get in touch. I didn't mean to sound quite so harsh reading it back - just think it could be so much more! Sorry Gamefreak :o Hey thank...

The 'Show Your Creative Side' thread

These are great. The mixes are outstanding. Everythings crisp and clear and succulent. Full mixes are rounded and balanced. I'm impressed - something to aspire to! Drum recording is awesome. Did you do this in a pro studio or is it home-made? Thanks for sharing. :)

The 'Show Your Creative Side' thread

Thanks for the comments on "Who Are We" fella. Appreciated. :) I have been listening to your Soundcloud account. I quite your Ambient stuff, especially the the retro style ones - gels with me - but in particular I have been replaying "2 Jan 16". Perhaps because its top of the list but I think...

The 'Show Your Creative Side' thread

That's exactly it. You can get completely bogged down if you are not careful. I can hear some areas in that track now that could do with further work, but I have put it to bed now and it will stay as it is. I guess about 250-300 hours went into that track on the faders so to speak. That's...
